Okay so lets get this straight. The refs miss a call on a bleeding high-sticked Briere, call a penalty on us immediately after, refuse to blow the whistle after we touched the puck multiple times, then Hartnell gets drilled.

that was Heatley that dropped Hartnell? Heatley is a joke. Did he just go onto the bench after he did that and let his teammates deal with the rough stuff?

Wow, they actually gave Heatley a penalty. Thank goodness. After not calling that high stick on Briere and then not blowing the whistle on us touching up twice.

The dude has been a STUD defensively. He is always in a great spot, he makes incredible passes, and he has been a workhorse for us.

Coburn has been killing the Timonen-Coburn pairing. Your right Jev, Parent and Timonen need to be reunited and Coburn can play with Syvret/OKT.

If we can get Timonen rolling again, our defense will be incredibe.

Philadelphia Flyers: padding the stats of opposition back-up goalies everywhere.

I think our skaters have played well, but at the same time, you need to score more than 1 goal on a guy making his 5th NHL start.

Im glad we got a makeup call, but man was it ever ******** that the 4 min high stick on Briere was missed. The ref was literally staring at the whole play.

Refs are crap

Yeah, 7 points in 9 games = ****. Also he and his D-partner Carle and Tollefsen are the only D in the plus right now.

Pronger isn't actually that big of a hitter. He is a high quality positional defenceman. The big hits he produces almost always come below the circles in his own zone. They didn't acquire Pronger for the hits, but for the defensive play.

The D that needs to get their **** together are Coburn and Timonen who are an abysmal -7 and -6 respectively at this very point of the season.

Yeah, the difference tonight has been the level of the backups.

Tonight Pronger has been a turnover machine, but i fully expect all the flak to be aimed at Coburn.

Also, we signed Pronger for 7 years. He needs to play a lot more like Lidstrom and a lot less like Smith/Hatcher in order to get the mileage out of his body that we need him to.

Essentially, because he was in the franchise too long. He was already making 1.2 million and he wouldn't have stayed if he didn't get a raise. Niittymäki also signed rather late into free agency because nobody was going to pay him such a raise and he settled for less than half of what he wanted.

Boucher's play on the 2nd goal was awful, he left his paddle there in a perfect position to re direct the puck into his five hole. like for **** sakes the paddle is supposed to protect your five hole

Exactly, I think he's done unbelievably well, without that pairing, our season is in serious trouble.

I'm still not thrilled that he's playing 28 minutes per night, but the guy has been awesome for us.

I wonder where Flyers are in terms of passing. This team has to be way, way below average.
