Why oh Why are we cursed with Hal Pylon? Twice he screws up on that play and leads to a goal. The only good thing about a Hal Pylon penalty is that he isn't on the ice to kill it or - that crap happens.

No. Gill was inside the penalty zone. That leaves your center covering the slot alone. Halak could have saved it as well but don't pretend it wasn't poor coverage. If a player walks in all alone against a goalie, someone blew their positioning.

Man oh man I can't BELIEVE you're even going that route after all the nonsense you spewed in the goalie controversy thread. I thought we're not allowed to blame goals on defensive blunders? If I tried to say that regarding a goal that Price let in, I would've been flamed ALLLLL night.

You know as well as everyone else that is the defenses fault when halak is playing and price's fault when he is playing
that has been clearly last year and this year

why are people blaming the refs? a quick whistle saved us or else the isles would be up 2-1 right now.

There were 2, possibly 3 of them down low. A forward then should have collapsed and took the front of the net. The forward did not.

People need to stop whining about the officials. The habs really haven't shown up tonight at all.

If this game is against higher competition, the Habs are likely down 4-1 right now with the amount of penalties and 2 on 1's they are giving up.

Exactly, do what the garbage goal scorers do...score garbage rebound open net goals. Ray Sheppard and Dave Andrychuk had great careers scoring that way.

It's the Isles. Refs or no refs, we should be winning this game.

I guess they are all getting back into the mode of not scoring for Price when he comes back.

We need some consistency boys!

except sadly, Mr Latendresse is allergic to going to the net.

The guy still hasn't learned that he needs to be parking himself in front of the net instead of swooping around it.
