With the way we've been losing lately, you'd think it was time for TB to say alright Rangy, we need you back buddy whats the good word...

All we know is the rumor that he's done in TB for good, guessing anything beyond that is useless.

I haven't heard/seen any rumor that Ranger is done in Tampa? Matter of fact, I haven't read anything other than the occasional comment in the St. Pete Times that one of his teammates received a text that he's doing well. I have heard/seen random input form guys like JJ and gobolt who may get some info from the team that the rest of us don't, but I still haven't heard that he's "done". I doubt that he's keeping the GM and coach ignorant of what's happening.

The team and Ranger just choose to say nothing to the public. They don't owe us an explanation or updates.

Do I want Ranger back? Hell yes! I can wait until he's either back. retired, traded. waived, whatever, to find out what the cause was for his absence.

On the plus side Lawton and OK have learned how to keep leaks from getting out.

We dont have anything. Just random guessing like everyone else. As a matter of fact, my personal guess is that outside of Lawton, Tocchet and Koules, I am starting to believe that no one else in the dressing room knows a thing.

Whatever it is, hopefully everything ends up okay. Paul, overall, is a great human being and has done a bit in charity and giving back to the community here. I hope all is well with him and his family.

Let us know if you find anything, Mike.

Nothing is confirmed, but rumblings around the Lightning on Friday indicated that D Paul Ranger, away from the team for 11 weeks on personal leave, might be ready to return, perhaps within seven days.

Great to hear! Love his puck moving ability. Tough choices coming up for Tocchet and maybe even Lawton, though.

If anyone of those guys is out, we better get a more than decent scoring winger back...

He may be ready to pratice in 7 days but hes been out WAY to long to just jump right in and play in the NHL. Wouldnt be surprised if he goes to the AHL for a conditioning stint.

Only one I want to see go is Hale to the AHL and we can shift out someone else accordingly... Walker? Smaby? Foster?

Hedman-Ohlund
Ranger-Mez
Smaby-Lundin

No Particular Order

Walker spot played, Foster 4th line wing duties and PP point. Get it done.
