Gagne has successful surgeries - (post #85)

http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Tim-P...-Again/2/23903

Gagne is this years Briere??

Quote:
Simon Gagne still has some issues going on in his right groin/hip, apparently.

That's why he played just one shift in the third period of Sunday's loss to San Jose and that's why he is "doubtful" according to GM Paul Holmgren for tomorrow's game at Washington.

Gagne is undergoing an ultra sound today to determine if this is all related to his previous groin pull or last May's hip surgery.

would anyone be opposed to sitting Gagne till Christmas?

that way he can come back completely healed.

How often is this team going to misdiagnose injuries with him? I believe this is the 3rd time.

I'd rather have gags go on LTIR. No disrespect, but we need him to be absolutely one hundred percent.

I just really don't want to see Cote in the line up on an everyday basis.

Homer says they won't call up another forward. WTF not?

Regards,
Rick

-_-

Wasn't the original idea behind acquiring Briere giving Gagné the Center he wants and have them develop chemistry to last until either one leaves the team far in the future? I guess they'll never get a full season together (and this year wouldn't have been it anyways since Carter and Briere are new BFFs apparently).

Hope he takes it slow and the recovery will go better than Briere's last year.

Gagne is this year's Briere, who was last year's Gagne.

Hartnell - Richards - Asham
JVR - Carter - Briere
Carcillo - Giroux - Powe
Cote - Pyorala - Laperriere

You wonder if Gagne wanted to get a goal before he'd agree to sit down, or before he said something to the training staff.

He's on my fantasy team and we all know how much more important that is than the actual team itself.

Well he's been playing like ass so it's not that much of a loss. Hopefully Betts comes back sooner than later.

And what has Carter done to deserve what he has beside him. He's been playing with no heart all year but he still needs players to get him the puck because hes shown he can't win a battle

JVR-Carter-Briere
Harts-Richie-Maroon/Giroux
Asham-Giroux/Lappy-Powe
Carcillo-Pyorala-Lappy-Cote

This is what I would do.. but I'm not John "Blank stare" Stevens
