Very good period. Oilers are lucky they're not down by more.

Didn't Wilson have the period's only giveaway?

edit: although I'm starting to think Preissing should replace Clark instead of Cumiskey.

Good grief, is there any way we can get another 40 minutes just like that last 20? The only bad thing is this is one of those games where you don't have enough to show for all the domination. Only a 1-0 lead. And you just get that feeling that the other team will score and change the momentum completely after you didn't build up a lead when you had the chance.

What? I'll take Liles over any Avs d-man not named Quincey or Hannan (and it's a tie with him)

Bulin wall always make me nervous...

On the other hand, Avs are second period team. Maybe they can get a lead there...??

Agreed. I cant remember the last time i truly saw the Avs dominate a game for 60 minutes. It would be great.

I didn't think that was a great period for us, but at least we out shot them.

easily the best period of the season so far

we were all over them and cycling like fiends.. bulin came up big a few times, but i'd like us to throw more pucks at the net.. especially on the PP we looked a bit tentative... duchene is going to do something big this game methinks.. 2nd goal perhaps?

stastny needs to think shot more, but ya, great period

also think we should move jones up to the 2nd line and put galiardi with oreilly and stewart.. they showed chemistry last game.

not having to count on Neo so much has been nice

that is all.

I actually deleted that post because I thought you were saying that after the Wilson turnover and I noticed it late.

But yeah, Salei probably won't play many more games as an Av, if any.

True, and with Shattenkirk, Gaunce, Cohen and maybe Holos and Elliott, who are we gonna trade, when and in exchange of what?

a lot of nice passing, but we need more shots on net, IMO.

Truth. We can all agree that the pressure in the zone was great to see. More shots would have been nice.

They needed to put more pressure on the 4-3 PP. There was no sense of urgency there at all, just a lot of passing like the last couple years. Can't score if you don't shoot.

Cumiskey should be an Olympic speed skater.
