two of my buddies sent me a text saying Gionta has a broken foot. Did anybody else hear this anywhere?

MAG Update:

http://www.cyberpresse.ca/sports/hoc...to-dequipe.php

Gionta is going for MRI tests today for his foot. We should get the results today to see if a bone is broken or not.

O'Byrne and Laraque should be cleared to play for Friday.

D'Agostini skated on his own yesterday, should start practicing at the end of next week.

Gill isn't on crutches anymore, he worked out in the gym yesterday.

Gionta hope its not broken, we need our little warrior

Now that OByrne is back and MAB is looking more like an NHL'er, its gonna be interesting when Gill comes back. We do need Marc André's shot on the PP.

Laraque is back I dont care what you think, he was in intense pain and I'd rather support him then hope he's injured. With OB' and Laraque in the lineup, we're gonna be harder to play against.

Looks like Laraque and O'Byrne are in for Friday. Also looks like Leach will be the #7 on Friday,Martin preferring MAB

In Washington and then home to the Wings, personally I would play the defensive minded player cause with MAB out there it might get really ugly

Laraque will play all of them if he is healthy. He will not be benched at 1.5 million.

but we can't score goals right now. He's playing better lately so I think it's the right desicion.

Gionta has a fractured foot:

http://www.cyberpresse.ca/sports/hoc...-a-un-pied.php

When things go wrong...

...although this makes me wonder how many injuries need to happen before general expectations of the Habs will change.

I'm really glad you brought this up. I'm fed up of people saying we're a terrible team for not being able to fight through the injuries. IIRC, pittsburgh was a borderline playoff team without gonchar. They then won the cup. But people look at us now and say 'yeah well they wouldn't have been good anyway bla bla bla'.

haters.

Desharnais has been the Dogs best player the last 2 games (although I missed about half of last nights game, damn 10:30 start)
