Which is something you don't have on Leafs games, and on the Leafs in general. Why even bother discussing them? We know what you are all about.

Right - whereas your varied input continues to shock and amaze.

How can I have a 'varied input' on this topic?

Which is why I was crackin' up when Sundin just took that guy by the face and threw him to the ice.
Yup.

Because if the Leafs end up winning, you'll dance and celebrate.

I was sort of speaking in general, 'discussing the Leafs', as you said.

But never mind, considering how blind you are to the Leafs, you probably won't get it.

Well it is not surprising you feel that way. Considering anyone that does not bash the Leafs is a biased Leaf homer.

Actually, I became a Leaf fan after choosing them religiously on playstation in 1999. Unfortunately, I live in the Pittsburgh media coverage area, which isn't so bad.

I used to flat out OWN my room mate. He was the Cunucks. The teams were about even, you know. They all get a rank number. However, with Sundin and Cujo, I was unstopable.

So.. yes, I am an unbiased Leaf fan. And I'm sure the team isn't complaining when I buy the merchandise.

That's right, you're just a random poster who doesnt bash the Leafs, that's why I think you're biased. That must be it.

I can't decide which is the sadder scenario, you believing the stuff you post, or you just posting it to be provocative.

What should I do? Say it wasn't a knee on knee hit, call Domi an idiot, use terms like "leaf garbage", etc? Would that make me unbiased enough for you?

Yes I do but if any team has a bunch of whiners like Tucker, Domi Quinn etc then they are going to get criticised.

The Leafs are generally hated for a good reason, a team full of unlikable players, dubious tactics, a whining coach and a whole bunch of blind homer fans.

There is no hatred without just reason.
Its not my fault youre not intelligent enough to see that.

The hit wasn't dirty. Varada had his legs together, he wasn't sticking out his knee. Sure, we all know he is a dirty player, so is Domi. Big deal, almost every team has one dirty agitator. Also, people always label Leaf fans whiners and all this, well I've read alot of posts from Leaf fans on this thread defending Varada's actions, so please, don't label all of us just from one fans point of view.

What a joke! Are you trying to tell me you honestly believe when that group is gone, babbling leaf bashers like yourself will suddenly not hate the Leafs anymore? Quit trying to make it seem as if it is the Leafs fault they are hated.

Please. Questioning one's abilities to understand a situation is now an attack?

Steve L is right anyways. The Leafs are hated for all those reasons, and then some others.

If I called you stupid or unintelligent you wouldn't take that as a personal attack?

Do you actually believe that if we completely switched rosters with another team, a non-hated team , people would stop Leaf-bashing? Give me a break.

it would quiet down just as the "bashing" of other teams would go up if they aquired personel such as Tucker, Domi, Nolan, Roberts, McCabe, Marchment and Quinn.

It would not totally go away because there would still be the media, the force fed coverage on CBC and some Leaf fans.

Its ironic that fans like yourself actually encourage it. Other Leaf fans dont think it was dirty, just as Domis hit on Hossa wasnt, they were both trying to take the oppostion star players out of the series in a legal way, just like every team will do, hell Detrot even had a list of Preds players to go after.

Wow, that sentence fit together perfectly.

Domi's hit on Hossa is the more logical suspension.

Varada a dirty hitter? Who can argue against this... Kolanos lost a year and the half of hockey because of one of the Vaclav specials.

Face it, haters...

If a Leaf had done what Varada did, it would've been the dirtiest hit in the history of the league.

Bloody hypocrites, all of you.

The only thing I thought was dirty about the hit was that i thought it was a deserving of a charging penalty if anything. Varada did go for the body though and got unlucky and went flying Sundin moved his upper body out of the way.

Almost every Leafs fan in this thread has said that it was a clean hit that Varada was trying to make and Sundin moved the wrong part of his body. Niether hit was suspension worthy.

I am sure you have to deal with a lot of annoying Leaf fans and constant CBC coverage of the Leafs over there in England.
