Thanks to Viper for this,

"I just wanted to be a mailman,"

"Deliver mail in the morning, get off early so you can go back to sleep. Unfortunately, it didn't work out, so now I'm a hockey player."

Sundstrom, who has a talent for deadpan, paused before adding, "That was just a dream I had as a kid. Obviously, it changed a little bit."

Yeah it's quite disturbing. He wanted to be a mailman now he's simply a hockey player making 45 times more money than he would have.

I imagine he cries himself to sleep every night while laying down on a big pile of money surrounded by many beautiful women.

yeah but think about it... Nik has to be one of those guys who loves the sound of an alarm ringing at 4:30 in the morning... dogs chasing you and trying to bite you, delivering bills to peoples houses.... wow he must fill people with Joy and happiness!!

No sorry don't think... very much like watching him play for us... no only messing.. but please please please hockey Gods.. let him score tonite... I mean the headlines for tomorrow would be so much easier to write and also and we wouldn't be getting rib by the bruins fans... about having a guy play for us who would rather be a postie... and yes i know that this comments were said when he was a youngster, but when it comes to rib it doesn't matter when it was said its ammunition regardless!!!
