Amerks will win IMO.I went to the Amerks-Crunch game in Buffalo and Rochester manhandled them.I think Leclaire will get torched, especially with Roy playing on the team.

Miller... Gaustad... Pominville... Ryan... Thorburn... Novotny... Any of 'em could use it.

Is Novotny even playing that much?He has been a healthy scratch a few times so far....

I think if Rochester has an hope to win the Calder Cup,Miller has to stand on his head and Pominville needs to score.

Is he still hurt? Does anybody know why Bartovic didn't play after going back down?

Novotny is hurt. And he better stay hurt. Ever since he left the lineup the team has played better. He is awful.

Bartovic hurt his knee. Out for 4 weeks. Ryan is also injured.

To speak to that... he injured himself in his first practice back with the Amerks.

Novotny is injured, Ryan has been out with a concussion for months, and Bartovic is expected out for about 4 weeks...to answer everyone's various questions.

But Pascal Leclaire is hurt for the 'Cuse, which isn't so bad. The guy they had in goal Friday looked awful in the first period.

I think the Amerks will win this series. Taylor looks awesome since being back, and Botterill plays like Bertuzzi or Shanny while in the AHL. Pominville and Roy look too skilled for the league, and Thorburn, Gaustad, Peters, etc. provide the grit and muscle. They've got a well balance team with a good goaltender. That usually means good things in the playoffs.

I'll be at Game 2 in Syracuse on Saturday night. I'm hoping for an Amerks win.
