Rocket stay alive against Moncton

Down 3-1 in the Battle of the Bridge, the PEI Rocket and all their Hab prospects stayed alive in their Q playoff series in a very convincing manner, winning 6-1. This narrows Moncton's lead to 3-2 with PEI facing another "must win" game on the 12th at home. Montreal prospects figured heavily on the scoresheet as always, it seems. Michael Lambert had 2g 1a for three points, Cory Uruqhart had 1g 1a for 2 points and Max Lapierre had 1a. Bonneau was held of the scoresheet.

I was out so I couldn't listen to the game, but it's great to see Lambert get going, as he's had a tough time against a very balanced Moncton team. PEI has had a tough time beating Moncton all year, so it was expected to be a tough series for them. If they can hang on for one more game, anything can happen in a game 7. Either way it's great experience for the four prospects, and Lapierre is showing some great offensive abilities. Good luck to them tommorrow night!

it was a awesome game...i thought cory and moncton would steal the game because cory looked really solid the game before but the rocket came out flying..i think if the rockets win this series they will win the whole thing or at least have a good chance. The number 1 team got put out the cape breton screaming eagles and also people may say rimouski will win....but the rocket have had rimouskis number this season....it would be awesome if the rocket can win it in their first year in PEI!!! and the mayors of moncton and pei made a deal...if PEI wins then moncton has to hang our flag over city hall in their town and vice versa.
