It may or may not be a good rule, but the good thing about it is it gets called both ways and there's no subjective aspect to it. If you break someone's stick, it's a penalty. No arguments. If they added an interpretive side to a slashing call, then that would just lead to more arguing.

Remember when Dubinsky was thought to be a budding power forward? He thinks he's freaking Wayne Gretzky out there.

The Bruins play a boring brand of hockey.... Devils-Bruins must have been a snoozefest the other night...

Is it necessary for Giannone to mention that Chara is 6'9" every time he mentions him?

He didn't, but we're playing the same ol' Bruins.

On another part, the hitting in this game has been insane. Everybody's throwing their weight around. Great to watch.

I'm disappointed with Dubinsky. I thought he'd finally that step forward this season, but I just don't see. He's more comparable to David Clarkson than Mike Richards (yeah right) or whatever other center we've compared him to before

I like what I'm seeing from Byers. Voros shouldn't be seeing the ice again.

Is it just me or has DZ been playing the best hockey out of any of our D, at both ends of the ice.

Pretty much. I really expected him and Callahan to take bigger steps forward, seeing as how they're the core of this team. Both of them still look like 3rd liners.

He's not like either of these guys, because he isn't physical anymore. He doesn't fight either. Maybe skill wise he'll be somewhere in between. Unfortunate really...

He has some skill, but he doesn't have a clue how to use it consistently. I mean, you notice him on the ice, but that's about it

I don't know, I think the Avery-Dubi-Cally line has been pretty good this game.

Dubi had a nice feed to Cally in the first, and Cally couldn't finish... kinda hard when everyone on this team except for Gaborik is snakebitten...

After that Bruin bum ran Del Zotto, he's had some red fury in his eyes. He looks awesome when he's pissed, he's throwing hits while still not being that much out of position.
