Theodore

i think he has to stop go to behind the net and focus on stopping the puck because he is not at his best.

What's going on with Theo?!?

What's going with Theo, last 3 goals were really soft. The 2 Boston game winners were soft....he looks shacky. We need a Theo at 100% to have a Chance to not only win the next few games but to go further in the post season.....

GO theo GO I still have confidence in you!!

BTW 1000th post, took me a while and it was fun, nice bunch of posters here (especially the habs board of course!)

And when he is behind the net, he is as much scary as Cechmanek.

Wow. What kind of an argument is that? Going behind the net doesn't take away his focus from stopping the puck.
Admittedly, he isn't great at playing the puck. It's one of his weaknesses. And no, he hasn't been playing great lately. But stop going behind the net? And what? Let the Bruins win all the races to the puck?!

4 or 5 of the 7 goals Boston has scored have been soft. Theo is not at his best...yet!

Koivu was scary on those last three faceoffs at the end of the game...just brutal!

going behind the net make him more tired and that can affect on his focus. 2 years ago, he knew when he had to run behind the net but since then, he run everytime and it seems not necessary. When Theo run to behind the net, the defender has to slow down and get hit by B's forward, btw Theo passes are not great even he got 2 point tonight. It is just my suggestion.

Hence how tonight showed the inverse. The post said we need theo at his best to win. Theo was not at his best, yet we won. Reading comprehension is something taken forgranted by too many.

Thanks Doc but my point was that we need him to be at his best to go further, if he's not we could win (like tonight) but it won't happen many times...

Theo's performance this year is not that diffrent from the one he pulled 2 years ago. The Media keep saying that he single handed won the series years ago, which is totally false. First 4 games he allowed 14 goals. He only woke up for the last 2 games. Maybe its time he does the same starting tuesday.

Totally agree on every single words. I expect nothing short of a win on tuesday no matter how the habs play. Theo has to win this game no matter what happens.

Theo was not at his best tonight, and he did let in two softies to add to the other softies he has let in.

Ribeiro said that Theo told the team that he would be ready the next game and we'll see if he is better.

Regardless, the most you can ask of a goalie is to give the team a chance to win, and he did make some big saves.

So let's cut him some slack. We won!
