Time to thank Raycroft for last year. Preferably by lighting him up for 5 or 6 goals.

You guys have it good. The game starts at 5am here.

Hopefully OT is not needed, because I have a job to go to in the morning

Damn 8:30 AM laboratories. Well, not so much the 8:30 AM part, its that it takes over an hour to get there in public transit.

I think it was a mistake starting Anderson again. Give the man a break! He has already stopped 1/3 of the shots that Roy usually faced in an entire season.

Boods hasn't had much problem with Vancouver, and I think this would be a perfect warmup to start his season. That said, I have no idea where he is at health wise, not sure if he's been practicing.

A couple things:

So far Andy has proved me wrong every single time, but I see this being his first bad game. I think both goalies will get lit up for a few goals, with a final score of 5-4.

Of course, the way the Avs have been going, the shots could very well be 52-13 in favor of Vancouver.

I want to see some poise in the defensive end for once this season. Let's just hope after getting slaughtered last game, some of the guys will wake up and pull their heads out of their *****.

2-2 is still a good road trip. But 3-1 is way better.

Budaj may not be contagious or horribly sick at the moment but it is doubtful he has the energy level to start and play well. This is being done by necessity I am sure.

With Luongo out, Avs just need to concentrate on shutting down the Sedin Sisters. Tally up another one in the W column.

Agreed I had the flu a few weeks back at it took 2 full weeks to feel almost back to normal. Budaj probably is just starting to get his conditioning back, no sense in purposely playing someone thats not 100%

D. Sedin is injured, so all we need is to shut down H. Sedin.

Starting Hensick as a fourth liner is extremely stupid. And I sure as hell hope Foote and Cumiskey aren't above Liles in the defensive depth chart.

.....Not to mention if Liles isn't even on the powerplay than we are extremely stupid.

I don't think those are the real lines. No way.

They don't even have Liles playing on the PP. I'll wait until the game starts to see the actual lines...

Thoses lines seem to be fairly accurate. Who would be switched. Its not like Hensick will play wing on the 2nd line over Svatos (we all know he gets a free pass no matter how ****** he continues to play)

Liles will be on the PP, Liles and Quincey will be 1st unit, and Clark and Cumiskey will play 2nd unit.

Actually Hannan is most likely first unit. Uhm, and I can guarantee you a few of those lines are switched (or aren't true) before the game.

Why would Wolski be taking the faceoff on the 2nd PP if O'Reilly is on the 2nd PP too...

It was the same thing Friday night. I specifically remember Haynes commenting that Wolski was centering the 2nd PP unit.

The line-up on DFO is the same exact line-up as Friday. They liked the chemistry Cumiskey had/has with Foote, so they left it that way. The PP unit will have Liles and Quincey on the points, unless that is a new change from last game, but I find that hard to believe.
