Jake's hair rocks! I can't even picture him with shorter hair anymore. The hair should stay!

What is this, 1963? Who cares how he wants to wear his hair (as long as his pants aren't too droopy!)?

I remember him with short hair. Anyone remember on a pre-game show last year when they interviewed Jake about "life on the road" and he talked about rooming with Commie? That was pretty funny & I've saved that on DVR. that one and about the rookie hazing - Boll, Methot, Dorsett all picking on Jake. Good stuff!

I love the new hair, I say keep it.
At least someone on this team has a little fashion sense
(I know nothing of fashion)

You mean Bell Bottoms....? My hair was longer than Jake's during the revolution, the biggest hassle was washing it. I felt like a girl... If he likes long hair it's ok with me, I wish Nash would grow his out-he's to conservative.

Now Jakub told KayZee
loud and clear,
"Keep your cotton pickin' fingers
out my curly hair."
Oh yeah, ever since the world began
a hard headed woman been
a thorn in the side of man.

Let Jake be Jake and let his long red tresses hang free and strike dread into the hearts of our opponents.

Cutting Jake's hair is a federal offense in the contiguous 48 states, most Canadian provinces, and the entire continent of Europe, isn't it?

From the Dispatch:

The more I read about this kid, the more I like him! Good quotes from Hitch, too:

My appreciation of him just got kicked up one notch

EDIT: And if Hitch demands he gets a hair cut, I think HE should be made to lose 100lbs. It's only fair

Big hair, "Classic 80's rock," "Jakub's world"

How did we all miss this for so long?

Step away from Jakes hair. Don't make me cut you.

The thing about Jakes hair is that you think it's awesome because it's not you you... lol. When I grow my hair our, I usually start at the beginning of hockey season, everyone but chicks I don't know and my family tells me it's awesome. Jake even uses the same excuse. Too lazy to get it cut.

If you philistines don't mind (pun intended), I thought I'd class the joint up a little bit with some pertinent high culture:

Thou durst not thus disparage glorious arms
Which greatest Heroes have in battel worn,
Thir ornament and safety, had not spells
And black enchantments, some Magicians Art
Arm'd thee or charm'd thee strong, which thou from Heaven
Feigndst at thy birth was giv'n thee in thy hair,
Where strength can least abide, though all thy hairs
Were bristles rang'd like those that ridge the back
Of chaf't wild Boars, or ruffl'd Porcupines.

-John Milton, "Jakub Agonistes," 1671

Biggest epic fail in the history of mankind. This is the worst thread ever started on HF Boards.

If Jake cuts his hair at all this season, I will protest. The hair combined with the 16 lbs of muscle he put on makes him look like an absolute beast and monster on the ice.

Ive never been let down so much . . . . .
