Providence vrs Bridgeport

4-3 Providence wins

Penner, (1) (Hamill, Lehtonen)
Goulet, (1) (Hamill, LoVecchio)
LoVecchio, (4) (Knackstedt, Penner)
Knackstedt, (1) (Hamill, Penner)

McQuaid got hurt during the game
Fata was a scratch

Heck of a game for Hamill, he needed that

Thanks Saxon. We all needed that win.

Good work for Sabourin with 37 saves on 40 shots. Providence had 4 goals on 28 shots.

Huge game for Hamill and Penner.

How is Penner's defensive game coming along? The offensive talent is obviously there.

Hey Eric did you get to see the game? How did Lovecchio and Lehtonen look, how about Penner? Also what happened with Fata, he was one of the best D in preseason if I remember correctly. Oh and how has Goulet looked so far this season?

Bodnarchuk 4 Let a guy blow right by him to set up a goal

Wozniewski 5 average

Lehtonen 5 skated and worked hard off the puck

Dr Love 6 another good game for the Dr, got hurt at the end of the game, hope its nothing

Hamill 7 niffty passes, good 3 zone day for the former first round pick, best player on the ice.

Goulet 6 got his first professional goal , jumped up to make a 2 on 1 and put it 5 hole, defensively is coming along

McQuaid inc went missing halfway thru the first period, hurt?

Penner 6 good offensive output

Arniel 5 overall solid, points will come

Lefebvre 5 played well, lots of PP and PK time, he should have beaten the crap out of DiBenedetto

Weller 5 meh wish Minnesota traded us Kalus

Larman 4 didn't show much tonight

Fraser 4 on ice maybe 4 shifts, centering a very weak 4th line

Kwiet 5 So far so good with him

Clouthier 4 they kept him over Adam Pineault????????

Knackstedt 6 got himself a goal, worked hard around the net for a change

Marquardt 5 doesn't have the points to show it but he's been pretty good so far, the effort is there

MacDermid 5 Big Daddy Mac didn't see a whole lot of action tonight but got into the games only fight, again skating has improved since prospect camp

Sanbourin 4 got the win but way to adventurous with the puck

Fata is inconsistent and takes dumb penalties

Lehtonen to me is the real deal but I think it won't happen here, thinking LA or Atlanta, he's worked hard on his deficiencies

Penner wait until mid season on him as he's only been back a few weeks, played very well tonight

Lovecchio he's got fourth line in Boston written all over him

Goulet- they've calmed him down since the beginning of the year, picking his spot and making much better decisions , could be a hidden gem if they are patient.

Good question. Brilliant talent analysis by Murray. Clouthier's a punching bag.

Thanks again SE. Really good news about Hamill. I hope he can build on this game and have a good season.

Also encouraging about Lehtonen. It would be too bad if the Bruins give up on him too soon.

Keep the observations coming.
