Play them off Keyboard Cat!

Kings lose in a shootout 2-1.

Kings offense only 2g in last two games.

Kings #1 line 0pts last 2 games.

Sigh.
WHY? WHY? Damit WHY!!!!
Quick could have been stronger in this shootout as well...Where is Patrick O'Sullivan when you need him? BTW He had the game-winning shootout goal for the Oil today vs. the Wings

We essentially went 1-1 in the last 2 games. 10 Points in the last 6 games. Fine.

that backhand shot seems to always kill us. How come none of our players ever even attempt it? At least I don't remember anyone recently trying it.

I think you misspelled Justin Williams' name there. He'll be back soon, and so will this first line's creativity.

They try, but then they don't lift it or whatever.

Kings need to stick to the simple shots.

Canucks got lucky. Kings probably should have four points but two points is OK out of this back to back. Smyth in the SO = WTF are you thinking Murray?

Kopitar has no points in these last two games but he is still playing very well out there. Doughty was also great. He is back to playing like the Doughty from last season.

Murray needs to activate the defensemen in the offensive zone. They just stand on the blueline and are easy to defend. All of the top teams use their defensemen to create back door chances with a strong forecheck.

The dump and chase needs to be retired as the Kings primary strategy.

Hopefully Williams will be back on the top line and create more space for Kopitar and Smyth. Simmonds is unable to force the defensemen to back off of the blueline.

Kings get a break and that will end the worst month as far as scheduling is concerned.

The schedule gets easier for the kings from here on out. So, 8-4-2 in the first 14? I'll take it.

Vancouver was a bunch of vaginas in skates tonight. They don't deserve to win if you are going to play not to lose.

Bob Miller should reach through the teleprompter and **** Patrick up. Who the **** asks someone after a loss if he thinks the Kings are disapointed with losing tonight? Seriously, **** you man. The Kings are at home playing against a backup goalie. Why don't you go get some more hair plugs you jackass.

Also, the thing I hate most about the shootout is when the shooter tries to go 5 hole from 12 feet out. A 5 year old could tell you that the percentage of that shot going in is pretty damn low.

PS... Right here Patrick (middle finger).

I thought the Canucks trap was really effective tonight, one defensive mistake was the difference.

Positives. Doughty, Purcell stepped up and Drewiskie with Parse also impressing

Negatives: Stoll, wtf happened to him? He was making wrong decisions all night, almost cost us the game on that line change.

Jack Johnson was a beast tonight.

I loved seeing Doughty throwing his weight around in the 3rd.

Parse with another gem, and Purcell played like he was during the first couple of games.

Smyth and Simmer both had forgettable games and Stoll was his whole own special brand of fail tonight.

Richardson deserves better line mates. Hold the fort buddy, you should be getting Purcell or Parse soon.

We have 2 goals in 2 games and still got 2 points so that's a bonus, but we could have had 4 points. That sucks.

The team needs these 3 days off.
