Versus ads all about promoting teams other than the Red Wings or teams beating up on the Red Wings. It's understandable though. You have Wings fans pretty much across the US. No need to promote them.

He looked good in that shift with Helm and Eaves. Leino - Helm - Eaves could probably put up a few points, especially with Helm at the...helm. He keeps looking better and better in the offensive zone.

It's always been like that, suprised every commercial isn't about Cindy because if it was it wouldn't suprise me. They really ride his jock strap hard!

Ozzie's played great the past two game's maybe its a turning point eh...... but we all know we've said that before. We need to come out strong this 3rd an bury one so we can hopefully put this baby away.

Yeah I know. The Wings have always been about the two-way kind of defensemen. Even Brad Stuart is slightly of that mold even though he's mainly in DET to provide stay at home defense. I just wish Lilja was back. Seems like he'd be the perfect stay at home #6.

For some reason it seems like Lebda has played a lot of minutes. Or at least, a lot of minutes for him. And yeah... nearly 15 minutes. It's probably because of the injuries but I hope they're showcasing him for a trade.

What a cheap call, Boston getting all the advantages this period. Nice to see Ozzy stoning the **** out of them.

I love how all the Versus commercials are Eastern Conference-centric.

I suppose it's understandable though. If I were a businessman I would probably shove Crosby down people's throats too. Even though many outside Pitt may hate him, that's still publicity. Hate sparks more emotion and attention than someone like Lidstrom who has the effect of "Oh yeah, he's good too." It just works, for better or worse.

Ozzie looked awesome. The Eurotwins looked awesome. Everyone looked awesome - except for Williams.

Good win.

Williams is bound to look average when everyone else looks awesome.

Anyway, I think this team is getting back to normal. What we saw at the beginning of this year was not the end of an era like so many were/are claiming.

Williams was the one standout, for bad reasons. Had a very poor game.

Datsyuk 1st star, Ozzie second, Helm/Hank third. Thought Helmer had a terrific game and is becoming more of an offensive threat, Eaves looked quite sharp too.

Gotta be said, pretty boring game but great defence tonight.
