Why are people blaming Price or D or whoever...

How about all of the above?

The team failed. Next game please.

Thing is, you just said it yourself. If it wasn't for him, we would of been out after period one. For me it means, he stopped a whole lot of pucks that HE HAD NO CHANCE OF STOPPING. But he did. Something we would have needed towards the end. A miracle. Something that if he would have done it, we would have read a whole lot of "Where are the Price bashers now".

So it's clearly not solely his fault. But he's freakin part of this team and just removing him from the list of who's fault it was, is simply trying to achieve an agenda.

We've lost as a team. And I'm sorry but Price is just as much as fault as everybody else 'cause he's just as much part of this team. They could have helped him better, he could have bailed them out more. Like he did in the 1st.

Exactly... he didn't fight like Plekanec, Cammalleri and Gionta did today...

I wish we still had Komisarek

And don't tell me how bad he's been with the Leafs. I know he's been bad. But he's better with us.

Five goals against. While Price did make some great saves, and a couple goals were tough to stop, he was weak on three of them, especially that drifter from the blue line...

You can't blame carle for squat. carle was a +1 and MAB was a -2.
ya this is true. but belle looked MUCH better in his 2 games.

belle has some games under his belt as well. with markov, obyrne and gill out, MAB playing..this is not the time to play a rookie dman.

Let's not overstate things. They're 24th in GA/game, ahead notably of Calgary's "elite" defense.

did anyone watch the boston ottawa game the other day? timmy made like 4 cross ice saves in the game. i know thomas is one of the best in the nhl, but thats how games are won when half the defense is out with injuries. sorry price, i want more halak.

We need help on D bigtime, I hope at least O'byrne can soon get back, also im able to see why MAB was not signed by anybody, wow he sucks.
We have come a long way since the past few years, when we are hoping O'byrne comes back!

#1 and #5, #6 defensemen gone and we are just in trouble on the backend. It's not a surprise, but it is a major problem with no real solution barring a miracle from a youngster. We just have to wait for help from someone coming back and pray to ****ing god they can beat the projected return dates... Oi vey.

I would put MAB in Hamilton and pick up Weber. The reason is simple, Weber is not better than MAB but at least we can hope that Weber will improve.

Well some teams have played fewer games and have a worse G.A.A. But even by that criteria, we're bottom 5. And yet, we need goaltending, right? We only have one line scoring, although it's a hell of a line and it's mostly a road issue, offense I mean. But our D is putrid everywhere and it's not improving, it's getting worse. Bring back Gill and it's just crappy, bring back Gill and O'Byrne and it's mediocre, bring back those two plus Markov and it's average. We're just another middle of the pack team. If we finish anywhere from 9th to 11th I'll be pretty ticked.

You know what though that is the problem, this team seems to feel it's ok to count on the goal tenders for these crazy performances but even great goalies are good for only a few great saves a game not 10 or more.

He also has Chara playing 30 minutes a game in front of him.

The defense sucks?

Of course it sucks, we are missing our best player, it's obvious. What were you guys expecting? This team to be dominant? It isn't.

But Halak do find ways to win and Price is up to 6 straight losses. It's time for Halak time.

I love when people say 5 goals on 30 shots lol why don't you look from where the shots come from.
If goalie A gets 30 shots from the blue line with nobody in front and lets in 2 goals while goalie B lets in 5 goals all from the slot/crease on 30 shots. Whos the better goalie?

So you'd like a Gill at 4,5M/5 years? Great!
