Maybe they should all get vaccinated?
...referencing the debate in the OT topic right now. Now it actually relates to hockey!

Carter actually looked like he tried too, maybe he should have the flu all the time?

A little more info:

The Flyers held a very brief practice Wednesday morning, but the session was cut, in great part due to the number of players ill with the flu or flu-like symptoms.
Five members of the team have confirmed cases of the flu: Danny Briere, Dan Carcillo, Aaron Asham, Matt Carle and Jeff Carter. Assistant coach Joe Mullen is also confirmed to have the flu.
Several other players are battling flu-like symptoms.

the flu sucks, but at least it's isolated. let it hit now, hopefully won't be as big a problem later. good thing we have a few days off for them to get some rest and get back on their feet.

We seem to play better with guys out of the lineup anyway. Vancouver has 1/3 of their team out and have played their best hockey of the year.

If Carcillo doesn't play we're ****ed.
And why the hell to they let players with the flu around the rest of the team. They should be quarantined until its over.

Fun fact: The Flyers are 5-0 with C Blair Betts(notes) in the lineup, 2-4-1 without him.

He may be a bottom-liner, but the guy is a catalyst for success.

I wish Gags wasn't hurt. It would be awesome for Homer to see the retardation that consumes his cap related moves if he tried to call up a bunch of AHLers due to the flu but couldn't because of Randy ****ing Jones.

I think that's virtually impossible to do.

How hard was this hit by Flu Bug? If it was a dirty hit, it better be under review by the NHL Board. I hope it warrants a suspension for Flu Bug.

Just tell the players who are sick to get out, and come back Friday. No reason to get the whole team sick.
