Roadrunners should be used to this at least...

After starting the year with an ungodly road trip due to their building not being ready, now they'll have to play every game of their best of 3 series on the road due to 'scheduling conflicts' with Cleveland's rink.

Are any of the games scheduled on TV?

Nothing's listed yet, far as I can see. Right now I would guess that there won't be any TV via sportsnet or the score, especially now that none of the games will be in Toronto.

Maybe if they somehow manage to make it to the 2nd round vs. Hamilton, I could definitely see some of that series getting some TV love. It'd be insane not to.

From the article, it didn't seem like sceduling conflicts resulted in all the games being in Cleveland. I think that's a seperate issue resulting in the games being played in a rink that doesn't normally hold AHL games. In fact, why would scedualing conflicts in Cleveland result in all the games being played in Cleveland? Logically, it doesn't make any sense. Maybe all AHL first round series are like this, or maybe there was a problem in Toronto. Does anyone know?

Uh, are you sure the article means the Roadrunners don't get a home game? Maybe it's trying to say that the games in Cleveland will be at IceLand instead of Gund Arena.

Earlier in the article though, it says that the Barons will be hosting all of the games.

These best of 3 "qualifying" series are all played at the higher ranked teams arena...it goes to a normal format in the "semi-final" round...Since Cleveland finished ahead of Toronto, all of the games are in Cleveland...The article is just saying that it will be at a different arena in Cleveland than it was suppost to be...

That's dumb. They should alternate after each game. I guess they want to get over with it quickly.

OK, I get it now. Thanks.

Seems a tad unfair, but then not much in life IS fair.
