It's kinda weird watching a team play hard and intense like they actually want to win (Calgary). The Kings haven't done that for awhile.

The Oilers were 3 tenths of a second away from winning in regulation, and Detroit tied it. LOL

I know the Oilers are terrible, but my god.

That was the goaltender Dubnyk's first win in eleven starts. Good timing. Still should have won it in regulation, but at least Detroit had 2 sure points reduced to 1.

At the very least an assistant coach or two.

Ducks tie it up with 32 seconds left and win it in OT.

Visnovsky with 2 goals.

2-1 now. Very entertaining game. It is nice watching teams play above the goal line.

Lombardi fails on a penalty shot in OT. I'm sure the Coyotes would rather have the PP.

4-4 in OT

Huge win for the Wild (and for the Kings). Wild win 4-3 in regulation. Now the Kings are 6 points ahead of Calgary with 2 games in hand.

To give this some perspective, if the Kings go .500 the rest of the way (6-6), they would have 99 points, and the Flames would have to go Flames would have to go 9-0-1 to surpass the Kings with 100 points (at 99 the Kings would have more wins so they would win the tiebreak).

I was about to say the samething. Calgary's schedule includes: @ Was, @ Chi, @ Col, @ Van

EDIT: Nashville vs St. Louis about to get underway.

Barring a complete collapse, the Kings are in.

C'mon St. Louis and Anaheim!!!

You guys are cracking me up with these updates. I don't know...I guess I just expect for us to be in the playoffs this year and actually do well. I know we haven't played like it but I think we're one of the better teams in the league. I really like the simplicity and disciplined game TM's coaching. Yeah, we could use more scoring, that's for sure, but I truly believe in our boys (as long as we're not playing the preds).

Let's put it this way, I'd be shocked if we didn't make the playoffs.
