Irish..you're story about the rude lady asking the guy a question with headphones in reminded me of a story.

Shortly after I started, I was working the midnight shift on a decent college party night. We normally would have several hundred people walking all around town, to and from parties....so it was pretty busy...and sometimes our patience gets worn (some guys more than others). One of my coworkers sees a guy and girl arguing on the sidewalk and stops to make sure everything was okay. They both say they were fine, but the officer looks at the male, who is rolling his eyes at him. The officer says, "Look, don't roll your eyes at me. I'm just doing my job".... the girl steps in and says, "Officer, he's not rolling his eyes at you...he's blind".

LMAO

I know right! I mean, people just don't care. It's every man (or woman) for themselves, then **** everyone else. It really doesn't surprise me at all that so many people get divorced. It's me me me me me all the time, so why not just throw in the towel?

I really don't get people sometimes.

I got involved one way or another in a 50 person fight on Halloween. It's pure chaos and I don't see a cop anywhere for the full thirty minute brawl. We leave and go back to the designated driver's car and, under the windshield wiper, is a parking ticket. I'm damned sure somebody is ****ing with me at this point.

What's funny, is nights like that for us...we get residents calling us at at 2-3 in the morning complaining that we HAVEN'T ticketed cars...and we're like..."We're a little busy"!

I punched a man dressed like a baby, kicked another dressed in drag (I hope) and got bit by somebody dressed like Ricky Bobby. It was like the worst acid trip ever. Add in that it was in the frozen tundra we like to call Albany and that I was dressed like Hulk Hogan and you get a terrible yet awesome night.

I'm sure Jules/CHarlie will appreciate this anti -person situation:

Don't you hate ******* guys who dump their girlfriends, then go around slamming random girls here and everywhere, and then when the heart broken girl finally starts to move on and finds a new boyfriend/interest the flip out at her? It's one of my biggest beefs with people lately.

Is this a specific situation? or something that's happened to you a bunch?

Well I am a dude so it doesn't happen to me, but I've seen this happen twice lately within my friends. So many guys think girl's emotions are their personal yo-yos, and these guys never think they have done anything wrong

That seemed oddly specific, sucks that it's happened twice like that.

I've seen the kind of reverse of that. Girl wants to take a break, be single for a while and see other people to "find out what I want." After a month guy provides ultimatum to get back with him or don't talk to him ever again. Girl obliges, unhappily. And complains to me about it.

I went through that, and fairly quickly realized that i was going to end up in the middle of something I didn't want to be in.

Then she moved in with a guy who turned out was leading a double-life and she got stuck footing the apartment. Good laugh I had that day.

I also actually see the reverse a lot. Not so much of the girls flipping out on the exes...but getting all obsessed at who he's dating and in some cases, harassing the new g/f. Either way, it's really ****** and waaaaaaaaaaaaay immature.

I'm getting pop-ups of ads, of the same exact dimensions of window. All of a sudden. I use Firefox, but when I go to task manager it shows up at IE. I know there was some spiel about IE going around. Anyone?

This is what I've seen more often. Girl breaks up with guy, guy starts seeing someone new, guys' new girlfriend is the villain according to girl #1. I wish I knew why that happens, because it's really ****ed up.

This type of activity is common when surfing naughty sites.

(not that I'd know, of course)
