Anyone else notice?

On Saturday night, they showed the Leafs bench during the Canadian national anthem, and Mats Sundin was singing along. How cool is that?

I noticed! As well I also notice at games in Vancouver and Calgary, the fans sing along with the person thats singing the national anthem. We all should be proud to be Canadian!

I also noticed this. It makes me proud to be Canadian. I'm so happy we didn't have to play an American team, because we just sing one anthem and thats it, the puck is dropped.

She's swedish. As for Mats and being proud to be Canadian, I've heard it as well. I also read like a long time ago that it was kinda hard for him to go play for Team Sweden considering that he has been in Canada for what, 10 years now!

Sundin is a proud Swede.

I haven't heard him say anything about Canada but that it's a lot like his homeland and he's comfortable here. He also lives in Sweden during the offseason.

I may live in Florida but my anthems are O Canada and the Maple Leaf Forever!

People down here have strange ideas about Canadians and Canada and are impossible to shake in their misperceptions. Even worse than Canadian ideas about Yanks.

MacDaddy Version 1.3.........

I was at that game sitting behind the Leafs bench and I'm sorry to burst your bubble BUT Mats wasn't singing the Canadian National anthem...........No Siree.....he was on his Cell phone talking to his mother.........he was asking her to make some more Soup for the Boys after the hockey game.

Cheers!~
