Nilsson is garbage, Grebeshkov should be dealt now IMO.

I'm sure, inwardly, he doesn't feel that way but corporate culture dicates otherwise.

It's tough to walk into a new job and tell your boss he's an idiot.

Yeah that defense is pretty gross, and makes all those moves pointless. You can't win with that defense, the team is showing us that now.

This could very well be the last time the Oilers see the happy side of .500 hockey all year.

The writing is on the wall for a disastrous road trip. By the time they get back from it, season could be practically over.

Not surprising, but man, what a stunning turnaround from the start of the year.

And Moreau stays? May as well send all 3 out of dodge. Problem is, who do we replace them with? Reddox? Crap, I'd probably take that little red headed sum ***** on my team instead of #12 or #18 at this point. We need to move Grebs and Cogs and bring back some skilled size up front.

are all of ur top 4 defenders considered puck movers? because they were literally non existent in defensive zone coverage in the slot and by the crease.

Quinn has rep and clout. I find it hard to believe that he would be worried about the corporate culture of the Edmonton Oilers.

LMAO!

Quinn saying "we dont have shooters, they dont know how to shoot.. I mean we have all these scorers that dont score and dont know how to shoot."

I hope quinn can knock some sense into his troops.

Well at this rate the whole team will be gone before the next game. I'm not liking Ethan's game either, but gotta start with the players who aren't giving anything. Ethan can at least be physical even if his mental game is 0.

After watching Strudwick all this time, Staios looks like Lidstrom out there. It'd be like living in a country where every woman had a unibrow, underarm hair, and a moustache that would make Lanny MaCdonald proud. Then you meet a chick that would otherwise be considered average by most, but she has none of these things. You'd think that she was Jessica Alba.

They will effectively be out of the playoff race by the end of the month.

How the organization reacts will tell you a great deal about the next 5 years.

Betcha he was drooling over Kotalik's goal. Meh, but I digress. Without Souray we have no real 3 point shooters.

The only time that he's physical is when he's taking penalties.

The players that were MacT favourites should be traded. Quinn likes Horcoff and I believe Horcoff likes Quinn.

Who are MacT favorites in your oppinion.

IMO they are Moreau, Grebeshkov and I hate to say this but I think Pisani and Cogliano as well.

My reasoning for Cogs on this list is that Cogs was never once benched despite costing the team games at times.

The reason I put Grebs on the list is because he's struggling this year and didn't last year.

Pisani I believe needs to retire. He just hasn't been the same since his bout with UC.

Quinn has always valued loyalty - often to his detriment.

To play devil's advocate here - how many other teams would you be willing to count out this early?

I don't think so. I'd like to see what Quinn could do with a semblance of the entire roster. He did manage to get off to a good start before injuries/illness crept in and the wheels fell off. I don't know what kind of team Quinn has yet; I'm not exactly sure he knows either at this point.

I realize that you're hedging your bets as always but nobody is out of it by the end of November. There is no way that this team is worse than last year. They could have snuck in playing .500 hockey over their final 12 games and pissed it away.

Nice, I've yet to listen to one of his post games, sounds like maybe I should start one of these days. Trades should be forthcoming, Quinn knows who the locker room cancers are by now.
