Elias will skate at center tonight, but there was no indication what line he will play on. He practiced on Thursday with rookie Matt Halischuk as his left wing and Jamie Langenbrunner as his right wing.
Devils coach Jacques Lemaire said he will gauge Elias’ ice time on how he plays, but he expects him to play 17 to 19 minutes tonight. That will include time on the power play.
I think that's a bit much for his first game back, right?
Elias's surgery was to remove scar tissue from his groin. There is no muscle or tendon tear or strain to aggravate. There is very little risk of him getting injured again. Only his conditioning is an issue. He will be very tired by the end of the game.
And looking at your forum, you don't even have a GDT up yet. So there's nothing to get offended about.
Are you kidding me dude? No offense to you, because you do awesome work but we have the best GDT's on the board. When it is up, come and take a look, we def wont have any jabs at you guys. But whatever, good luck tonight.
