Should be fun...hopefully the fact that it's Nashville's first visit to the playoffs will spark them to overperforming, but either way, I hope it'll be fun to watch, and yeah

Good luck to everyone. And here's hoping fans from both teams keep it clean. Some posters can get pretty riled up and intense. To the point of stupidity.

hey I just checked the TV Schedule and TSN is covering game 1 of the series. Hopefully, they cover it in its entirety.

I agree with your statements! Very classy. All the best to ya as well.

Quite frankly, it just feels good to be here right now. I hope both teams make it really fun for the fans.

Great to see the Preds make history here, just remember Preds fans, the Wings are your first playoff team ever so we enter your history too sounds like a good trivia question in 80 years from now .

Great to see a new opponent play us, hopfuly it'll be a fun one to watch, good luck to you guys, I hope we win

Good luck to the Preds from a Wings fan. Your guys play a tough brand of hockey and I can honestly say that I'd rather see 1 or 2 other western conference teams before the Preds. Remember that every year sees some underdog come in and kick butt -- Anaheim, Carolina, Washington, etc. No reason it can't be you this year.

we shall see...it won't matter...I wanna see blood pain sweat and tears...all around, whether it be from injury or our first postseason OT goal...anyway it goes its fine with me...all I have to say is, tell the coach to not let anyone get "tangled up" with Hartnell...lol

On a serious note, I do have a healthy respect for the Preds. They've got a group of stand up guys with a lot of character. I don't see this series being easy for either team.

He looks prettier smacking around Fischer and creating a turnover that Johnson scores on

If Legace starts that evens up the playoff experience factor in goal, eh?

If he doesn't and Cujo's rusty, well we've seen that.

Preds. I still love the Wings, always will, but I really would love to see Nashville do well in the playoffs. My effort is fully behind the Preds this post season.

Was just going to say the same thing. I really hope they start Legace ,then we can throw the whole goalie thing out the picture and focus on who does better, Legace or Vokoun. I like Legace but would feel much more comfortable with Vokoun in net.

on the other hand...legace has stunted us and given us fits, back when he was the backup and we were a token "backup team." we've faired well agains cujo going back to toronto, on the other hand. goalies of his style...burke is another...generally have a hard time with us. here's to hoping Cujo is up and ready to go

I was pretty much thinking that exact thought nomo. We have beaten Cujo on a much more regular basis than Legace, and with him comin' off yet another injury, I'd definitely like to see Cooj in net.

As a Sabre fan, I am pulling for you in this series. And as far as teams in the playoffs in the West go, you're my favorite. I'll be watching all the games in your series with Detroit, so kick some a$$!
