I'm trying to go with about 10 friends and wondering if there's going to be a designated Flyers section. Last year around Christmas I sat at the Coliseum for a Flyers game and was next to an entire section of Flyers fans. This was in the 300s fyi.
I'll be there, lol. On that note, I'm going to The Wachovia Center at the end of January. Just wondering, I heard you guys are pretty nasty in Philly lol. How bad am I gonna get heckled?
Also, what is a decent section thats cheap?
You shouldn't have a problem at all. By all means wear your favorite teams jersey. I know if I went to a Flyers game on the road, I'd rock my Richards jersey. The Garden, the Capital, Nassau, it wouldn't matter. Orange and Black on my back.
Islander fans generally don't get heckled, unfortunately it's because we feel bad for you guys. To be on the safe side, don't jump around if the Isles score and don't be obnoxious and your ok.
If you were a Pens fan, I'd say stick to a pens t-shirt and be careful, haha.

I COMPLETELY agree with this. I bought the college tickets ($25 a game for 4 games) and they put us in the very highest row on the end and the seats are great. The view is awesome and you can see everything. It doesn't feel like the Linc where you are too far away. I was actually surprised how nice the seats were considering the location.
I think in 10-20 years when they build a new arena (wishful thinking) that they put more seats in there. 19,500 is kinda weak. haha
In fairness, for hockey, it is pretty much the same everywhere. I haven't been to the older arenas like Nassau or the Igloo, but I've never been to a (pro) hockey arena where there were bad sightlines. Even the way upper levels in the Spectrum weren't bad.
