You have some RFA's too...

But in the OP, it states that the RFA agents are also in charge of UFA extensions until the off-season, but I ask to PLEASE not go crazy re-signing UFA's. It will make the off-season boring, especially with the mediocre crop of UFA's this year.

Re-signings

Devin Setoguchi: 5 years 4.25
Joe Pavelski: 3 years 3.5 million.

These two players are key members of our team. We are very pleased to have them long term.

I'm looking to trade Dave Bolland, Brent Sopel, and Troy Brouwer in a package. I must have less salary coming back in return.

Nick Foligno has been re-signed at 1.9 MIL for 3 years, We believe that he can succeed as a top 6 forward

Devils are looking to move one or both of their steady, stay at home defensemen (White and Salvador). Someone looking for this kind of defenseman, they can be had for the right offer.

Ilya Kovalchuk signs 9 year deal

Big news coming from Atlanta...
:thrashers
Ilya Kovalchuk signs 9 year deal

The Atlanta Thrashers are very happy to announce that we have re-signed Ilya Kovalchuk to a 9 year, 9.5M per year contract. This was the number one priority heading into this season and getting it done was a relief. Now that we have secured the cornerstone of our organization we will move forward in a win now atmosphere.

and as to Kovalchuk- I think he would definitely get the Max, if he were to sign a long term contract with the Thrashers, which would be 11.6 for next seasons cap.

I negotiated Gonchar's contract as well. It was negotiated before The rule that Isles was taking over all UFA negotiations.

So starting tomorrow trades may be sent in (to both GGGG and I). We don't have to confirm it but you must PM us before posting. And then, we have the right to veto any deal we feel is too unrealistic.

I'll get to all the UFA inquiries in the morning (which is just 5 hours from now for me).
