Damn it, why does it seem like half the time I can catch a Wings game, they look like ass.

Oh, wait, that's because they do. Thankfully, it's only one period.

I'd do Nylander for Rafalski in a heart beat.

Rafalski has been pulling Nick down for years.

Would be nice to get rid of Leino and Lebda, man they are trash.

I'm positive the Leafs have beaten the Wings the past few seasons...

Kessel with the goal! I called that ****!

Every team in the league should just play their rookies, old bums, AHL call ups, anybody, against the Wings because every mother****er gets their first whatever against this team.

If they lose to the Leafs I think I officially give up on this year.

Hopefully Babcock benches Lebda and Leino, only plays Ericsson on the PP and puts Datsyuk and Zetterberg together because this is a ****ing pathetic joke.

Helm, Leino, and Draper on the ice for both goals against. Good to know what Leino can do when added to our hottest line.

On the bright side, the goals that Osgood gave up weren't that bad. Nothing some decent defense couldn't fix.

Honestly, he needs to get his head out of his ass. People praise this guy but he floats, never keeps his feet moving and just has NO speed to his game to keep up with the NHL game. He's a notch below average and its ruining his game.

Lebda and Rafalski need to go. Offense only goes so far before you have to be held accountable for your lack of defense... as a defenseman.

Call up Janik, sign Nylander to replace some of the lost offense. Screw the goaltending "issues." Put Ericsson with Lidstrom, Stuart with Meech, and Kronwall with Janik.

NMC/NTCs are just brutal when someone signs a $6M contract.

Ericsson has been worse than those two guys combined. If anything, he should be the first to go.

You would think we were the team that played last night. They have all the jump. We have got to get it together in a hurry here because these are 2 points that we have to take.

Funny how everyone in here bit my head off when I said, as soon as I saw him, that Leino was overrated and pure crap - now everyone seems to agree with me.

Got to love Don Cherry advocating interference on the dump-in so guys don't get in with enough speed on the forecheck to hurt anyone Thanks, but if I want to watch guys get grabbed on the dump-in every shift I can always just watch a Ducks game.

Ericsson has been our worst defenseman, actually, but he has some room to grow. Lebda is as good as hes gonna get, and Rafalski is only going to get worse due to age. But we're stuck with these guys for now. I agree about the pairings though. I'd rather see Ericsson with Nick.

On another positive note, Stuart and Kronwall (especially Kronwall) have looked worlds better in the defensive department the last 3-4 games.

Don Cherry is a fan of teams like the devils and the ducks. SO its no shocker that he would say interference is good.

Ericsson is only in his second (technically first, in terms of games played) season. Hes also big, a good skater, and *might* have the best shot on the back-end right now. He has the potential to get better in all aspects. Theres no reason to give up on him now.

Hes been worse than Lebda, but he'd probably look a lot better with an experienced defensive defenseman alongside him, allowing his better qualities to come out.

Ericsson is a rookie. He should get a little bit more slack when it comes to his gaffes.

Lebda and Rafalski have been in the league for a while and should know better -- it just seems they're getting worse as time goes on.

Yeah, still not back to last season's form, but they're certainly getting better.

Rafalski+Cleary+Leino = 9 million $ for Nylander+Semin = 9.5 million $

Would you do this?

I really want to get rid of Rafalski and his 6 million dollar cap hit.

Semin-Datsyuk-Bertuzzi

Zetterberg-Nylander-Franzen

Williams-Filppula-Eaves

Holmstrom-Helm-Draper

Maybe so. But that doesn't mean he can be let off the hook completely. At a certain point, you have to question whether it is worth it to have such a liability in the lineup.

Which one of these teams is the consensus worst team in the NHL? The red ones or the blue ones?

What, you mean moreso than Rafalski (who is becoming quite the even strength liability) and Lebda (who might as well be a forward) combined? Ericsson, being a rookie, paired with arguably the worst defenseman on the team? Does that seem like a recipe for success? Both are offensively-minded, and Ericsson needs someone to mentor him on the ice. Lebda is not the one for the job.

Word, 3-0. Does the fun ever start? Williams, Cleary, Kronwall can't stop a 3 on 3. Awesome.
