That second line is terrible.
The first is pretty awful also, actually.

Wolski-RoR-Stewart was the "third" line last game and was quite possibly the best line on the ice.

Really? I wasn't able to watch the game all that closely so I guess I dunno. Interesting.

I just don't like Wolski on the third line. I realize that he's getting probably just as many minutes since the third line and first are probably like two minutes away from each other, but still. I dunno.

Not doubting his ability to defend or anything, more of I want him up there on the "scoring" line.

The whole team is pretty awful really. Even our goaltending is questionable. This team probably won't win another game.

I'd love if that was the Avs SECOND line.

We don't really have a "second line" and "third line". O'Reilly's line plays just as much as Duchene's.

We only play 3 lines since our 4th line plays like 5 mins a night. We're essentially playing one 1st line and two 2nd lines.

Maybe tonight would be a great opportunity for Dutch's brakes to come off. Colorado's first Matty Hatty.

In all seriousness...on paper this game belongs to the Avs, but since thats rarely the case all I can hope for is that our boys show up and work hard for another W.

This will be the second game where avs outshoot the opponent. Like the last one, it will be a loss

The Oilers are missing Hemsky, Souray, and Horcoff!!! That's nearly 250-30% of the Oilers salary cap!

Here are the projected lineups: Oilers vs. Avs.

Unless I am getting posts garbled those lines were pretty close to what we had last game. Not a personal knock anyway just a general bit of sarcasm. The second line hasn't produced regardless of the combo and the first line has had consistency issues. Still we win and after last season I am ecstatic. Even though Duchene hasn't put points on the board he is exciting and between Gags, RoR, and Dutch I am looking forward to the future too. I think RoR is mini-Ron Francis and you can just see that Duchene is going to be a beast at 21. Today we win and we have the pieces for tomorrow as well. It is like I awoke from a bad dream...

Please just call him Duchene. Its almost as bad as someone calling Cumiskey, "******".

It seems like theres always one person who has that feeling every game. Still waiting on it though....

The Oilers are missing some pretty good players. Hopefully we can do, what we didn't do against the Canucks.

At least that was what some of the players called Cumiskey. As far as I can tell no one called him that until someone (McLeod?) accidently called him that during an interview a few years ago. Duchene's nickname is Dutch, so the whole 'douchy' thing is entirely fan based.

And it's totally ridiculous and needs to stop.

No that's his team nickname. I've heard douchy.

I've heard the players refer to him as "Dutch", not "******", "Doucher", "*******", or any other form of a feminine hygiene product.

LOL, the filter even asterisks out that name!
