It's unarguable that in the playoffs Edmonton has the loudest fans - but this year who has impressed you in the playoffs so far from the games you've seen?

For me, it's Nashville. It's their first year ever making the playoffs and they were really into it, they cheer, they keep the chants going, and the 'You suck!' at the end of the goalie heckle is the icing on the cake!

Montreal & Colorado were awesome too.

Ya, I'm a big Oiler fan, but things looked pretty hopping in the Saddledome...

I'd love to beat them there in game 7 OT in a series a couple years down the road...

Nashville really impressed me. I wasn't surprised with Calgary. I knew they'd be loud, so that was expected... but Nashville... WOW. Great, great atmosphere.

From the games I've seen (and I haven't seen em all by a long shot) I say Calgary, Nashville and Montreal. Great atmospheres. I'm gonna be at game 4 in Montreal to experience it first-hand.

Most of the chants and taunts have been done for years in section 303 of the GEC the rest of the arena joined in to make it really loud. I usually sit in 303 and it's always rowdy and loud even with 9500 people total in the house (attendance has gotten better) It's really funny when the visiting starting line-up is announced you yell "sucks" after each name and "he sucks too" after the coach's name.

I didn't here Nashville so I can't comment. However, Calgary and Montreal were really loud.

Highlight for me was the Catfish thrown on the ice in Nashville.

The loudest building (the most chants) was at the Bell Centre.

It's not like if they couldn't make a case for their vote. All answers given so far seems realistic to me. Just because someone's answer happens to include his home arena doesn't mean he's an homer, it might simply mean that what he is saying is true.

Ok, the atmosphere I was most impressed with besides Montreal was Nashville. I haven't seen many games from there and always hear how they can't draw flies. Good to see fans in the building and making lots of noise.

Happy? (sarcasm)

I think Nashville, Calgary and Montreal have been the best atmosphere thus far.

But do people think the Nashville chants were started by the Nashville fans? Of course the Tim McGraw chant was created there. But the "you suck" chant after saying the goalies name has been around for years. As has the Gary Glitter "We're gonna kick the crap out of you" chant. They do both of those here at the ECHL games in Toledo.

Its fun, and the Preds fans are really whooping it up. But those heckles and chants have been around for a long time.

:lol youre killing me hemskyfan. Yes they are loud, but no louder than calgary was last night, or montreal, or nashville, hell they are all close to the same. even dallas is always loud.

but Calgary, vancouver, nashville, montreal, have been for the most part the loudest. although calgary seemed to silence the van fans in game #2 so theyll have to prove themselves again in game 5.

This is a great topic. I have been impressed with the Montreal fans as well as the Calgary fans.

Well, I knew Nashville was going to be loud as hell, even during the regular season it's very loud. I remember one particular Edm@Nas game where I think it was Hartnell who kept the puck in the Oilers zone while PK-ing for about 30 seconds and the fans were going wild, it was nuts! Just a very solid effort and the fans were acknowledging that.

The bests were indeed Nashville, Calgary and Montreal. Tough to put them in any kind of order unless you go from arena to arena as a TV audio feed can be very deceptive but they were loud alright, all of them!

The one that gave me goosebumps was Calgary. It was good to see playoffs hockey back there!

Jim Dowd said that he never heard a such crowd in his life. He also said that the players could barely hear the whistle so much it was loud!

Good for Dowd but that hardly makes it the loudest. I would say it is a toss-up between Nashville, Calgary & Montreal.
