I am on the fence on this game....If the Kings have an outstanding game then Wednesday might be crap.....If they stink this one up then you know they will be on a mission on Wednesday. I am all about Wednesday right now.
is the game blacked out for people that actually get versus? when i look at my program guide it just says "Blacked Out" on Versus...but i know i've gotten Versus games in the past.

Mine isn't blacked out according to the guide but I'm in the Malibu area. Don't know what it's like in your area.

No.. there is no local broadcast of the game, so the game should not be blacked out for anyone. It's being carried in Versus in the US nationwide and by TSN (TSN2) in Canada nationwide. It's also the only game scheduled tonight.
The game is only blacked out for DirecTV users, it is on Versus for everyone else.

"It has not been a good day. I lost my glasses early this morning and I had to go buy a pair of 79 dollar reading glasses today. 79 bucks. You can literally get them at Costco, three-for-20." - Darryl Sutter's response to going up 2-0 in the series.
In case anyone is interested, I have a membership to hockeystreams.com and you can buy it for one day for $5 or a week for $8 (I think). I bought 6 months for $60 at the beginning of the season. It works good. There are rarely problems with the streams once you get it set up. If you are interested, I'd suggest buying it right now and trying to view some archived games first to make sure everything works on your computer before game time.
I'm sure somewhere else there will be a stream but those aren't very dependable or as good of quality. I hook my laptop up to my big screen and it looks pretty decent.
A lot of Kings talk on NHL Live today. Lot's of praise and Hradek said that he didn't think he would be saying it, but LA should contend for the playoffs, also lot's of praise for Quick and Bernier. Moulson was on too and they talked about his stints in LA, some interesting stories.
As for Chicago, we should be treating this just like the Penguins. We need to go in there and skate hard for a full 60 and pour it on. Let's get the win. Go Kings!

Funny, but I would bet the coach or the GM would say that the preparation and mental mindset of the team should be the same every night, no matter the opponent. But over an 82 game season, that just isnt possible. So if we have to think its the Penguins to get the right vibe going, then lets make certain we shut down the Sidney Kane line tonight.
This is a pretty critical road trip. It starts with a tough game but then we have 4 games in the South East against beatable teams (Carolina, Atlanta, Florida, Tampa Bay). If we can somehow get 6 points on this trip we'll be in excellent shape for the season with our two biggest road trips out of the way.
Important road trip in a key month of hockey. I expect the boys to elevate their game and play at an elite level, or at least have that mindset. Go kings!
