Well right now the temporary solution is put one of Voros and Brashear in and call up Grachev. But for the long term, I gotta imagine they're looking at Forsberg even harder now.

Typical Rangers luck to get two injuries to 2 crucial centermen which is also the position we have the least depth in.

Let's hope for the best

It's always a shame when a cheap hit really hurts a player.

I just do not want to see voros playing more. Parenteau, Grachev, anyone

As sad as it might be, does anyone think we might grab Nylander?

No way.... they are better off signing Forsberg with his bum foot for $4 million...

NO ONE SHOULD BE SIGNED OR TRADED FOR

Bring up Grachev and another Pack player and let them play. It's not like we are winning the cup this year anyway. Let the kids get in there and get their feet wet.

Its not like we have a ton of C prospects down there. Stepan is our best one and hes playing college hockey. I'd be less concerned if it were 2 wingers that went down. But we have just about 0 depth at the center position this season.

I don't know how anyone could say no to Forsberg at a reasonable dollar amount right now.

We do not have Jagr. Why therefore would we want Nylander, who we didnt sign in the first place because he wanted a contract length that would go past Jagrs stay here? Jesus folks. Slats has said he has interest in foppa so I imagine that is where he will go.

As much as I wanted to see Voros gone, not for those two.

probably the fact that he hasn't really played much center in his past few stints with NHL teams and I wouldn't count on two-way hockey because of it.

Also an oversight...Chris Higgins played some center in Montreal.

Centers could easily be: Prospal, Anisimov, Higgins, Boyle
with the wingers being: Gaborik, Lisin, Avery, Callahan, Byers, Kotalik, Voros, Brashear
With a possible call-up replacing Voros and/or Brashear. (Dandenault, Grachev, Locke) ... I'm pretty sure NOW PAP would have to clear waivers so I don't know that we'll see him anytime soon. He also didn't do much with his chance up here IMO (his goal was nice...all other aspects, not so much.)

Corey Locke (center) and P.A. Parenteau are on fire down in Hartford. Grachev sniped a goal last night, simply sick... Locke leads the AHL in points, give him a shot...

i'd love it.

Prospal-Nylander-Gaborik would be a very potent line.

nylander still have game left, he just doesn't fit in washington.

Hate this attitude. EVERY year a team should be going for the cup, and do the best you can to reinforce that, whether it's via trade or AHL-pickup.

Foppa and Grachev will fill in nicely. Either that or tank for T. Hall!

This is a pretty fun team to watch and not as frustrating as last years but still not a legit contender, whatever happens I will support them. But it would be nice to get a better draft pick than 16-20 this year if **** really hits the fan.
