Celtic with 10 men gave a lesson in ball control and passing today against rangers. A replay is now necessary after a courageous come back. Well done Celtic! We will win the replay as well as the game in the league at Celtic Park in two weeks!
Anyone see the 5th round Celtic-Rangers mauling? What a hard game they played. 3 Reds.
spending above there means and buying trophies for the past 2 decades means the rangers have no money and a **** squad now. the way they win games is through thuggery and intimidation. not working against celtic now though. rangers lucky these suspensions dont carry towards league games but meaningless scottish cup ties next year and the players red carded probably wont be at the club next year.
We get it.. Congrats, but when Celtic won it in 2009, Rangers fans called it a diddy cup, so don't be disappointed when we really only care about the league at this point.

Fans (of all teams) only call it that when they don`t win it.
You still need the diddy cup for the treble which of course nobody will get this year.
I would like to warn both Gers/Celtic fans that we need to keep it clean here. No derogatory terms and no trolling. I know banter is part and parcel of the rivalry, and I'm all for it, but don't let it cross the line.
Great league final win, Jelavic is just on another level. We now have the lighter fixture list and the advantage in point needed from remaining games and the momentum.
80th minute, scoreless Old Firm game. Celtic get a gift wrapped penalty on good play by Stokes, and a bad call. Why, how about we send up Samaras to take it?
Rangers had their chances today and they blew it. Poor finishing, from Lafferty in particular, and letting Edu get to 80 minutes were their downfall.
Ki could have had no complaints if he got sent off in the second minute when he put his studs into the shin of Kyle Lafferty, but Craig Thomson didn't even feel the need to talk to the South Korean.
However, it is the penalty decision that should (but won't) see Thomson banished to the lower divisions for the remainder of his career. The rules of the game are clear; impeding an opponent is an indirect free kick. Even if he wants to argue that what Davis done was a foul, he is not allowed to award a penalty kick, only an indirect free kick at the spot of the foul. By awarding a penalty he clearly showed that, at best, he does not know how to apply the laws of the game.
At least his ineptitude didn't change the result today.
Neil Lennon received "viable explosive devices" intended to "kill or maim". My source for those quotes is Strathclyde Police, as the link below makes clear. Whether those devices were nail bombs or not seems a curious point about which to get exercised.
You may note that the police did not implicate Rangers fans in this event. Rather they suggested that the perpetrators may be "Loyalists".
Personally, I find the news of a Celtic fan racially abusing Diouf just as depressing as I found the news of Rangers fans being found guilty of singing sectarian songs (which I naively keep thinking have nowt to do with football) by UEFA.
For some reason, the jibe "two bald men fighting over a comb" comes to mind.
wtf that's crazy, I don't follow the SPL at all, can anyone share an insight into what's the deal with this obvious than someone clearly hates him?
Nobody in Scotland likes Neil Lennon because of his attitude. Celtic fans and Celtic football club are desperate to make it out that this is about religion, but that has nothing at all to do with it.
He accuses referees of cheating, his club then force a referee strike. He accuses teams of lying down to Rangers in order to cost Celtic the Championship. He looks for every opportunity to wind up the opposition supporters. He has got involved with players from the touchline on a number of occasions this season.
He is not liked because of how he is seen to behave. It is a carry over from when he was a player as well; he was a big mouth with a short fuse. That is still there, and people just don't like him.
However, with football having become a political toy now it has made matters significantly worse. He certainly doesn't deserve what has went on in the past couple of months with devices being sent to his home and the attack last night. But he also has to realise that there are idiots out there and instead of looking for every possible opportunity to stoke the fires he should learn to keep his head down and defuse situations.

I'm intrigued by the bolded part. When has football in Scotland-particularly Glasgow- not had a political edge to it?
You're right though, Lennon is managing like he used to play-quick to provoke, quick to play the victim when his antics rebound. (It's not just in Scotland that he's despised for that.) That makes him the worst possible type of manager for an Old Firm club.
