Had to stand in line for an hour and 20 minutes to get myself and the kids the H1N1 Vaccination...... Which me with getting vaccinations I'll probably end up feeling like crap for a few days..

Oh it's just the flu, this has been ridiculously overblown, they name the flu after an animal and people always make a huge deal over it.

It's not just the flu! I have had it since Wednesday last week. I spent the night in the emergency room last night as I now have pneumonia, so don't say it's just the flu, I can tell from first hand experience, that it is not. Wise move Kristia, I'd trade a few days of feeling poorly for the last seven of feeling like crap, and I'm not done yet!

I'm glad you didn't leave the plague at my house. By the way, still no symptoms at all. I'm invincible!

My son wanted to get the mist, as he hates shots, but I was not standing in another line after making it to the front of the shot line....even tho the mist line was moving alot faster...

RIP to my boy Mikey. 30 years of fighting man. Just about every surgery imaginable. A great person, the biggest bucs and bolts fan. I just don't even want to believe it. 30 years he was resilient. Numerous open heart surgeries, a heart replacement... I just don't believe it.

I had caught the swine flu during the first wave in April 2009, I was at that time on chemio but I hadn't had for 5 weeks when I caught it. So, I was strong enough to beat it. It was like I had played a hockey game, played a football on the o-line and after pitched a full baseball game. LOL. It was so painful, they had gave me Tamiflu, and after 10 days ,all was gone. One chance, I was on a pedriatric cancer protocol so I hadn't had to wait to see a doctor. Good for me

Sorry about your friend Bryan.

Good for you lightningfanqc. Had to been pretty scary since that's when the media was hyping it up as the new plague.

Thanks it's a normal flu but it more physical pain and headache. If you're not ill, old or too young(0-10 yr)! You will go through it easily. But if you have people around you, who are in this sector of ages, tell them to get the vaccine or go with them. We are never too protected.

Last time I got any sort of flu shot, I ended getting the flu. Yep, the same exact thing I thought I was preventing.

To hell with shots.
