You're preaching to the choir...

Seriously, the Sens need to do 2 things. Get more traffic in front of Belfour, hopefully resulting in either screening him or deflecting it in. So far though, everytime they do that it just ends up going off someone and into the corner.

The 2nd thing is what you said. Crash the crease, but NOT to deliberately hurt him. That's no way to win. They need to bump Belfour a little, jab the the puck/glove a little more and generally tick him off since he does have a temper. The worst that happens is that they get a penalty. It's not like Belfour will get mad and raise his play even more. What's he going to do, somehow make the Sens score on their own net?

Belfour is a head case. A little traffic will be enough to throw him completely off his game.
Again, just put Chara in front.

I don't think were doing a good job of creating traffic infront of the net. Belfour is seeing everything. Great goaltenders will stop everything they see. If we want to take over this series, We need to get in his face and frustrate Belfour by limiting his vision..

Chara? Where are you?

Are you kidding? This is Ed Belfour you're talking about.

:lol

Honestly though Ed Belfour is for real, and that's what makes the Leafs scary this post season. He has 4 shutouts in his last 5 games, and it will take one helluva effort to beat him right now.

Yeah, that's slanderous and unfounded - you should have no trouble getting a radio gig in Ottawa.

It's sad that it's come to this.

When a goalie is playing well, running him is an option?

Sorry, upon further examination he was only p!ssed drunk when he attacked the hotel security guard and two police officers.
No cocaine was involved.

Blasting teammates...
Eddie gets injured. Hackett plays well and gets some press. Eddie comes at him with some tirade... something like:
" I'm the star here!!! You're just a back up!"

The risky thing with doing that is what happens if the Leafs break out with the puck- the Sens are stuck with their biggest Defender in the wrong zone!

The talk about Belfour's personal life can only become a problem. The idea of running the goalie to increase scoring is rediculous enough, no reason to personally attack a player.
