I hear both teams will special commemorative #15 jerseys in the warmup to honour the Senators and Oilers legend. Both teams are all class.

Who is in the lineup should now be the question. I can't believe all the bad luck this team has had since the 06 Cup run. When will it end? Did some of our management group cut a deal with Satan in the off season that year? No, I am not talking about Miro either...

I hope we can manage to get the puck out of our own end tonight. We are constantly being hemmed in by the opposition. Anyone have any idea's why we get hemmed in so much? That problem has led to goals by the opposition. It must be driving Quinn and Renney crazy. Two coaches of high caliber and we can't straighten this issue out? We must cure the problem....why is it happening?

Let's hear your idea's for fixing it.

Exactly. Even if they are showing a Montreal vs. Buffalo game it will not allow you to watch. I am assuming because of Centre Ice.

My predition is that if Smid is inthe line-up he will complete a successful double pits to chesty and give the Oilers a late goal for the win.

I believe the channel blacks out if your not in that local area. So, they won't be able to watch it besides PPV and ATDHE.

He's still in Edmonton, so, yes.

Eff. I don't have much hope here, guys. This road trip wouldn't look so bad if we had, you know, let's say half the team healthy. Are we even going to have a full line-up if Smid can't play?

Edit: Well, we just called up O'Marra. Yeah, that's a good sign ...

JDD gets the nod for tonight. No official word, but the educated guess would spot the lines as...

Penner - Gagner - O'Sullivan
Comrie - Brule - Potulny
Reddox - Cogliano - Pisani
Moreau - O'Marra - Stortini

Visnovsky - Smid
Staios - Strudwick
Gilbert - Grebeshkov

JDD

With Smid being monitored to see how he does at first and Cogliano and Potulny perhaps swapping spots.

Good to see JDD get teh start but I would have given him the start tomorrow. He grew up as a big Sabres fan so I figured he would probably have prepared and palyed a pretty solid games against the slugs. Oh well, I am sure he is just happy to get back in there.

You can get CI including all the Oiler games for the same price I have to pay for Oiler PPV. I think you have a distinct advantage. Anyways the point of my comment was that the ppv's were supposed to be for games that werent televised. That isnt the case here. Maybe swest is carrying the Nucks Blues game. Either way it stinks.

Calgary vs Montreal. Figures. I guess this is why Flames fans only have to pay for eight games.

I think I will look for a fellow HFOil poster who is out of region to give me a proxy address for next year. If they ever make it to Edmonton I will treat them to a game.

Blame it on the stupid NHL schedule again. 6 Canadian teams in the league out of 30 and all on tap tonight in the 6 NHL games. Two games are interlocking between Canadian clubs.

What the chance of that happening on a random basis?

Of additional note of all 6 clubs we are the only market that will not be able to see the game tonight on regular TV.
