I was watching the Detroit/Vancouver game and they mentioned both of those facts. Neither one was pleasant to hear.

You're right, neither are pleasant to hear - but gosh, poor Raffi. That sucks!

Can you fit Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Toews, Kane, Oshie, Tootoo, and Tkachuk all into 1 avatar?

Lidstrom too.

Hate seeing shoot him against us, his rebounds always end up in our net.

For the record, the above video is 1914's "Tillie's Punctured Romance". It starred Marie Dressler, Charlie Chaplin, and Mabel Normand. Dressler is the largish person being knocked off the pier by the Keystone Kops' car.

I thought I'd just share. Carry the flag.

Three of the great names in early motion pictures (four, if you count the Kops). And, no, I didn't attend the film's premiere! Robert?

Please, these forums are posted by people putting out their hypothetical lines every chance they get. Having said that Hitch did put Filatov on a line with Vermette and Jake. I'm really not sure how that is much different then RJ and Brass, but hey whatever.

Voracek and Brassard had chemistry in the early-going last year and I'd like to see them rediscover that given that Brassard has been inconsistent thus far. Rick Nash will score even if you have Manny Malhotra centering his line, so no point putting all our eggs in one basket.
They aren't all our eggs. We've been over that.

Ken Hitchcock thought it was a good idea to try Rick Nash as a center at one point. He could tell me his reasoning and that wouldn't necessarily mean it wasn't flawed.
yes, and Hitch was practicing Juice on the checking line. I don't think Hitch really thought Nash would end up as a career center, just like he probably doesn't think Juice will be an effective checking line winger. You never bothered to ask why. You just went straight to idiot.

Unfortunately, poor performance seems to put Huselius in no danger of losing his spot on the top line. Before his little injury, he was in the doghouse. Today? Back on the top line. This is a frustrating story line. And despite what the Dispatch seems to think, I don't think anyone wants to pick up Huselius' contract unless they are really desparate. Beyond Filatov, a guy like Torres who plays the game right and has been lights out on power play, gets fewer minutes than he probably deserves because the coach doesn't have the guts to put Huselius in his place.
When Filatov earns it I'll care. Hitch had the "guts" to try Nash and center and doesn't have the guts to cut down Juices ice time? This is the same coach that dropped Feds to the 4th line. Give me a break.

I'm not sure why I'm surprised you haven't figured out why Hitch is giving Juice every opportunity to fix his game and hasn't taken drastic action sooner.
