The Red Wings are actually a good team though, that's the difference. They're struggling, but almost that exact same team made the finals with Osgood, who wasn't too great during the regular season either.

Oh, and another goal against.

BTW, Rats up 2-0 on Syracuse.

Kopitar is not a significant upgrade over Staal. Never really has been. His proportion of goals to assists is nearly identical to Staal's, and he scores less overall.

Williams has quite simply been much better then Cole has. I love Erik, don't get me wrong, and it does pain me to say it, but he has sucked this season and last.
darn... the losing streak took all of your sense of humor away.

LA and Columbus are good teams too.

Actually, more along the lines of me not being able to watch the Canes enough to be in a lot of GDTs and follow who's really on what side of the great Staal debate of 2009.

is this going to be a first ever Ersberg's shutout?

Hopefully, Sutter doesn't spoil it.

Sutter showed effort there. What's he doing on the team?

Oh, and Samson with a goal for the Rats.

I'm scared. Suddenly, this red light went on and everyone cheered.

Does that mean the game's over?

Think it was Chaput with a deflection, but still - game is on channel 3 of Time Warner Cable for anyone in the Capital Region

3-1 Rats after two.

Samson keeps racking the points. Wonder if he gets any considerations next year.

Could have been. Didn't bother to check the official scoring, and I'm trying to watch and listen to two games here, so I don't know if they mentioned who it went to.

Time Warner 26 here, I get the Syracuse feed.

According to the gentleman that covers our prospects here at HF, he was facing an uphill struggle to be resigned after this season.

Tripp to close out his interview with Williams,

"You could sell icing because your goal in the cup final was the icing on the cake"

Seriously Tripp...

Hey, at least he's putting in a better effort than most of the team.

For the first time in a while, I can actually think of some positives!

- Two minute 5-on-3 kill was sexy
- Brandon Sutter is such a stud
- We're getting some pressure more than once in a blue moon
- Ruutu scored

Had Ruutu not scored, I probably would've not even watched the third period. But for some reason though, I have a feeling that the good guys will pull something off

thanks to some illogical inaccuracies with my direct tv contract, thanks to there being local sports, i.e. Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Stars, or Texas Rangers, i can not watch canes games....so, yeah, wow....now that basketball season has started, im screwed. so much for watching canes game on the cheap this season! so after the goal , how have they looked?
