I find it hilarious that Fraser is the black one. Maybe I'm a racist.

TG says Rolston is skating this morning, but Lou continues to say he is "resting", so he might not play. TG also says Malkin might play:

Neither Gonchar and Talbot are close to being ready, but it appears possible Malkin could play tonight.

TG says Brodeur is probably starting tonight because he didn't participate in the optional skate. Does this mean the Danis for Saturday?

anyone else gonna make this away game?
i'll be in section C1 row f in my Johnny Mac jersey. Hopefully I won't be the only Devils fan there. I only saw like 5 other ones at the last one.

I'm so excited for this game tonight because I finally get to see a game in its entirety. No hockey practice, baseball games, dinners with the family, etc infringing on my hockey watching time

Another day, another injury. Or so it seems for the Penguins these days.

In the team's most recent health setback, it was announced Thursday that defenseman Brooks Orpik will be out of the lineup for the next two weeks with a lower-body injury.

"He's got a two-week injury, lower body," head coach Dan Bylsma said. "We were excited that he was doing better than we feared. He's doing well. We got some good news and he'll hopefully be around 14 days."
I didn't realize you categorized injuries by weeks now!

Clearly he needs to get the sand out.

Oh, and I got a response from salz. Our favorite rangers poster:

"The missing key players angle you're using doesn't go along with the logic of my argument because I'm saying the Devils are overachieving as a whole, so even if they get these players back, they'll still be overachieving and eventually get back down to earth. I'm sure you'll have a solid regular season and make the playoffs as a 6 to 8 seed, but you'll be eliminated in the first round of the playoffs like you always seem to be nowadays. Lemaire's style isn't conducive for success in the postseason and you don't have very good players. You won't beat a good scoring team four times.

Also I know wins are wins, but shootout wins and one goal victories aren't very indicative of a very good team. That often comes down to a lot of luck. Combine that with the fact it's November 12th and it looks to me like the Devils are fluking badly. Don't worry though, I'm sure you'll sneak into the playoffs."

This dude is delusional...

With Rolston back on the wing, Lemaire may decide to use Elias at centre and bump Zubrus down a line. That would kick one of Pelley or Sestito out.

So, with this being broadcast on NHL-N, and the game being at Mellon, is it safe to assume that we are gonna be stuck with the d-bag duo of Steggy and Errey tonight?
