Seems to be a whole lot of smack about how Emery will play lights out and Ottawa will lose by several goals.

I guess it's a foregone concusion and the Sens will just fold the tent after the puck drops.

Talk is cheap.

Everybody is talking about how Emery will be motivated to play well against Ottawa. I think some players will be motivated to stick it to him more so.

The Sens are gonna be motivated to stick it to Emery just as much as Emery will wanna stick it to the Sens. It should be an interesting game.
Emery has proven himself and he seems like a changed man who has learned alot, I am happy for him and kinda miss him in Ottawa. I'm thrilled with Leclaire, but I'll always be fond of the guy who got the team to their only Finals in their history.

This is not going to be like the Oilers the other night, Philly is gonna be tough and come right at us...Sens better be ready for it!

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and ask everyone's personal opinion as to what kind of abuse Peter Sidorkiewicz will be subjected to. Heres mine:

Beer toss: 40%
Punch in the back of the head: 25%
Pizza or pretzel maybe even hot dog thrown at him: 1$ Pretzel night, so it's a matter of when and how many times.
Challenge to a fight in the stands: 25%
Challenge to a fight in bathroom: 30%
Challenge to fight in the parking lot: 30%
Threat (ex. "Hey *********, get rid of that flag or i'm gonna kick your ass": 75-85%

Thoughts?

Without putting any numbers on it, I'll just say that being an opposing teams fan in Philly would be downright scary, they're just so intimidating. Look at one guy the wrong way, talk a bit of trash and cheer your team on and you're gonna get trouble.
Unless you know to fight and are with a group of people...in that case...talk as much trash as you want

My thoughts are that going to the Wach in another team's jersey is fine, long as you are respectful and respectable. The flag is a whole other issue. Only a moron would take a flag in, sorry to say...I'm a pretty civil fan, but if you're waving an opposing team's flag in front of me at my team's game I'm probably going to want to crosscheck you in the face with it. If anything bad happens to him, it's the flag's fault.

Just ridiculous.

Well, he said he was off work at around noon. So I think he warms up all afternoon, shows up at the rink enthusiastically drunk and steps on some toes. By the 3rd, he's a slobbering mess and asks a kid in a Flyers jersey, "Whatter YEU lookin' at?" Then all of the above.

i already like Carkner, but if he were to kick Pronger's ass he'd get dangerously close to favorite.

I want see Leclaire and Ray go at it.

Yeah, yeah, common sense says Ray has training and is an animal.
Thing is Leclaire has that 'insane hobo' look a lot of the time...I bet if you got in his lettuce that he'd flip out and go nuts on you.

I'm calling Leclaire with a suplex ending with the people's elbow to Emery's jaw.

Of course, Ray would be late to the fight so...

Also, Pronger is going to try and kill someone as usual, so please puncture his tires or something.

Sens 4 Flyers 3 (regulation).

I'd say the major difference is that Emery is a bit of a pretty boy while Leclaire cannot possibly look any worse even after receiving a really good beating.

I kid because I love.

He cant prove them wrong. He DID play like a middle of the road AHL goalie. That cant change. What he does for Philly does not change that.

He WAS a distraction to the players and management of the team. That cant change. What he does for Philly doe not change that.

The guy could go on to win 5 Vezinas and I still wouldnt regret getting him off this team.
