Not sure if anyone cares, but I think I'm going start taking the injured guys right out of the comparison.

Makes sense to me since they aren't relevant for the games. Overall comparisons in a debate I can see, since they are a factor, but if they aren't playing it won't matter much.

I think you have an age or two wrong, the one I noticed was Kessel. Not that it matters, just thought I'd give you a heads up.

1) stats

3) posters' opinions on prospects

that's funny - you spend all your time telling other people that their opinions are either wrong, or meaningless.

It's not a prediction - it's just a PPG number put into an easier-to-read format.

It tells us how the players have done so far, taking games played into account - it doesn't tell us how they'll do in the future.

i don't think i tell people that their opinions are meaningless. if i think they're wrong, i'll say so and argue against their point. isn't that what you do too?

why are you here? you think everyone here is basically stupid and has no idea what they're talking about, so what is your point in posting and reading?

all our opinions are pretty much meaningless, aren't they? its just the interest factor and entertainment as far as i know.

I actually feel like we are going to lost HUGE tonight. Those chicago fans still hate us from the rivalry in the 90s and the blackhawks are young and skilled. The only way this team competes is if Huet ends up sucking tonight, which has been the case recently.

You have followed me around and mocked/dismissed my contributions on more than one occasion - and I know that I'm far from the only poster you've done that to.

You won't ever see me doing that.

People disagree and debate all the time on message boards, that's the primary reason message boards exist. But when 99% of the things you write cause fights, it shows you have no interest in debate, you just like to get a rise out of people. Zeke takes the time to post stats for those who are interested (I being one of them), and all you can say is that no one cares? That's not starting a debate, that's being a straight up dick. Grow up man.

Same thing was said when this team went into both Vancouver and Montreal, and they didn't fair to badly did they?

Anyway - Vesa tonight is the right call. Playing Gustavsson on Saturday gives the Leafs the best chance of winning on home ice, where Tosk struggles. PLus, if Jonas looked like "the monster" in the back-to-back starts he won, then he looked "human" against Minnesota, so I think it's fair to give Tosk another shot at the net.

Tonight has to be one of Toskala's best performances as a Leaf. A young kid with high potential and excitement, has come into town and pretty much stolen the number one job away from him. If that doesn't light a fire underneath Vesa I'm not sure what will... he's got to put in a resounding, statement making performance tonight, and that's the main way that the Leafs will win.

Chicaco and Toskala. That should be entertainment, plenty of goals to be scored.

This is going to be a very exciting matchup, always fun to watch the young core of Chicago, and for the leafs...Kessel and Kaberle, lol.
