Hawk lines (for first post)

Sharp - Toews - Byfuglien
Versteeg - Ebbett - Kane
Ladd - Madden - Brouwer
Eager - Fraser - Kopecky

Keith - Seabrook
Hjarmalsson - Campbell
Barker - Sopel

When the second line's on the ice it'll be just like playing the Habs!

Heut has been good as of late:

Generally it makes the game tolerable for me

Not much of an angry drunk though.

its your ego and condescending attitude that needed to be taken down a peg or two. i think that's been successfully done.

you seem to think nobody here has a clue. you start off many sentences with, "nobody understands this, but.....", and then you tell us how you see things. ifs that's not mocking and dismissing people's contributions, i don't know what is.

tell us again what your point is in being here? it seems you truly believe you're "teaching" everyone the ways of the nhl.

Grow up man.
he said himself he wasn't sure if anyone cared.

i doubt anyone is on the edge of their seats wondering whether or not zeke is going to include injured players in his excruciatingly detailed list of player stats for each game.

Way to blow it out of proportion.

And if you didn't care, why bother responding? You obviously DO care if you keep on about it. Right?

Drove 8 hours and got stopped at the border for almost 2 hours. 10 hour trip so Toskala better make the trip worth it or I'm gonna be upset all weekend!

You must have been going pretty fast. I have family out in Chicago and it usually takes us 11-13 hour even if crossing the border takes relatively fast. At the same time I'm usually doing the speed limit because those American coppers in Michigan love to pull over foreign license plates, even if were driving the speed of traffic. I hope Toskala doesn't disappoint

From a Hawk fan's perspective - I hope so, as long as it's Chicago scoring the goals.
But actually, the Hawks reputation as a high scoring team was true last season - not true this season, atleast not yet. The Hawks are middle of the road so far in GF. The main reason is injuries, which has resulted in an ineffective PP - only about 18%. Hossa hasn't played yet and now that Toews is back - Bolland is out. If the Hawks can raise the PP conversion rate to about 21% to 23%, they'll be fine, else it's going to continue to be a struggle every game.

See, I was looking at Kessel's 4 points in 4 games, and I was SO confused about what that meant about his production. Then, Zeke somehow was able to calculate Kessel's production over an 82 game schedule, and I suddenly understood.

Anytime Zeke posts a long list of extrapolated stats, especially when it includes examples like Kessel there, and uses it as a foolproof argument, I get a good chuckle. He is truly a statistical wizard.

i heard vesa tried to jump in front of a train but the train stopped in the middle of the joke to slap me and inform me that if there's one team besides the leafs whose goalie's legs he'd like to go through its chicago.

then the train said the rest of it is up to us, at which point he said, the odds of him outracing a boeing 747 is 100% higher than blake scoring on a wrap around.
