Rick Rypien is the best fighter in the NHL. He is small but will fight anyone, and everytime he fights it is an exciting bout. He has a boxing background and you can see it in how he fights. His left hand is amazingly quick and powerful and he beats on people twice his size (i.e Hal Gill and Zack Stortini).
Boogaard enforces even when he is not on the ice. And even when he is not fighting it is fun to watch him look for those huge hits. He is my favorite not so much for the fighting skills, but for the pure power and size that he presents on the ice. Boogeyman moving full speed on the ice is a scary sight.
May, even after he blew out his shoulder throwing a punch at Ronnie Stern, he had a ton of one-punch wins in his prime. It didn't matter, he put guys out.
Clark, for being completely fearless, regardless of the consiquences.

The guy does not just hang on, he throws hard and fast with both hands...only 170 lbs, fights guys MUCH bigger than him and I have not seen him lose one, yet.
Quickest hands in the league (fighting-wise at least) right now.
He lost one to Doug Murray a couple years back. Rypien is my favourite fighter in the league, too.

Paul "Biz Nasty" Bissonnette....not the biggest guy but will drop the gloves at any time...plus the story of him coming out for warmups wearing a WWE Title Belt while in the minors is hilarious.

I actually found him on facebook and it looks like he's dropped a good 20+ lbs from the pic on my left.

Good to hear. I hope is well. I sat with him at a game in the Cow Palace after his accident. He was actually a really nice guy in that setting. Saw him play in Anchorage a few years back and he was big and scary looking. Nobody tried him that night. I would have loved to see his career last longer, he could play and had a cannon for a shot.
All Time for me would be Bob Probert because to me he was simply the best, if you were going to build a hockey fighter you wouldnt need to look long just say him and you would be OK. Also a lot of people dont realise that he had a decent amount of talent and scored 29 goals in his best year to go along with his 398 PIM's and he made the All-Star team that year.
Currently it would be Colton Orr the kid is always willing and has a very big punch and can skate well enough to play. He is in the perfect situationin Toronto because Brian Burke loves tough hockey and will give him a chance to play.
Career cut short but Link Gaetz had something wrong in his head.
Current: Jeremy Yablonski. Can fight with either hand. Eats punches to get a good shot in. 6 time Canadian Golden Gloves Champ. 2-0 in MMA fights. Has fought his cousin (Jon Mirasty) several times in epic fights.
I knew they were both from Meadow Lake, I didnt know that they were cousins. Yabo played his only Regular season NHL game with my Blues and chased Brashear around all night trying to get a fight. He did have a go with Todd Fedoruk that night.

He did pretty well against Fedoruk. He try numerous times to get Brashear but I guess he figured he needed to earn his stripes against Fedoruk. Both his MMA fights were here and he just crushed those guys. Apparently he is having back issues this year and he has only played a few games in Binghamton. A guy here bought his Blues jersey at a "game worn" site and gave it to him last year. Still a fan fav in Boise.
