proud to be an islander fan

i am much more of a reader than poster but i feel compelled to post this...

i am damn proud to be an islander fan......we are playing good hockey and the best part is that our young players are the ones carrying us right now...

i am not declaring we are playoff bound but i believe we have established we are in the hunt for the long haul at this point.....im just very exicited because im seeing results that i honestly didnt see coming this year...

the plan is not complete but the light at the end of the tunnel is not that far away

cheers isles fans

The team is playing well. Although their making my blood pressure rise. Standings mean nothing right now, but considering I thought we may sit at the bottom, I am impressed so far. Let's see what happens after the new year.

I said something like that to my fiance last night, lol. I told her my blood pressure cannot handle another shootout. I was less than 20 seconds away from a potential heart attack situation. I am happy thus far how they're playing. Even if there's a lot of OT losses, it's the points that matter. Although it's extremely frustrating, I'd rather blow a lead and tie, than get blown out.

Around new years we should know if the isles will compete for a playoff spot.
