Can they stop with these nights and ceremonies? Sometimes I'm just watching them and itching for the game to start already.

And why not try Kessel along side Graboski and Poni? I know Grabo loves to hold on to the puck like Kessel does but that could open up some room for him. Poni also will open some room for Kessel and in turn it will help Poni and Grabo score possibly.

Couldn't agree more. It is getting a little ridiculous at this point.

The only one that needed to happen was the Remembrance day ceremony, the rest were all a waste of time.

Toskala played great last night, I'll give him that for sure.

Gustavsson, IMO, will get the start tonight though (I haven't even read .. it may already be announced who is starting).

GO LEAFS GO!

Kipper going back to back....he played amazing against Buffalo last night but it will be tough to make that type of performance two nights in a row....

I'd personally like to see the two finnish goalies battle it out for a win, but gustavsson will start

So there is another team in the league without a first line center? Interesting.

But it will probably be Gustavsson. In my heart we tied last night's game and am proud of the job Vesa did.
Luke needs more ice time as he isn't the only one on D making big mistakes. At least he should be expected to. Only his second year. Now, when Beauchemin makes these mistakes there is no excuse.
Would like to see Mitchell centering Kulemin and Stempniak again as we did in the third last night. I think it was the first time for that combo and I think it might work.
Couldn't agree more with everything you said! Didn't Wilson play Gusto in back to back games despite losing the first one? I think if the game was on monday or even tmr, Toskala definately gets the nod. He was outstanding last night, but let's take it in strides, and build him up again slowly. Heck, if the leafs show up in that first period, we probably come away with a victory. The leafs play 7/10 games on the road so expect Toskala to get a lot more starts. Most likely playing in Ottawa on Tuesday, and depending on the outcome of that, could be back in the pipes the following road game.

Leafs are in big trouble with Kiprusoff starting again tonight. Trust me. He looks as good, if not better, than he did in 05-06 at this point.

Probably for the warm-up and pre game ceremony stuff with the real game jersies underneath.

thanks for the gamely stats Zeke.

it's interesting how few points Calgary has been getting from their D.

Their Defense is their biggest asset (and kipper), but you'd think they would contribute more offensively.

Calgary has been looking for a decent center to play with Jerome Iginla for almost 10 years.

Apparently it's 80's night at the ACC for tonights game.

Does that mean 80's jerseys?
I think it would be best if they just acted like the 80s never happened.

I doubt they'll wear the 80s jerseys. I believe I read that the NHL needs 12 months of heads up for alternate jersey approval.

Probably just don the 80s jerseys in the warm-up, like they did with the 90s jerseys.
