Ugh.

3-2 we are down.

Just a terrible period. It's amazing how they can't play their game through consecutive periods. I'm sure they'll come out flying in the third.

Jaffe even said it. Stop making the cute play and just use the boards.

We better bring it in the 3rd.
Signing a good defenseman would greatly help in this matter as well.

I have lost count on how many times this has happened so far this year.

So which team shows up in the 3rd? The one dominated in the 1st or the one who got dominated in the 2nd?

It's like a recurring nightmare with this team in the 2nd period. Same thing every night!

Boy, these giving up 2-3 goal leads after the first is getting to be a daily problem.

What the ****!

Ohhhh, and yet again no stream. There are like 5 opportunities to see the Calgary vs. Toronto game, but not one for this game.

I think they are picking the second period to rest up. Can't play this pressure all the time system for 60+ minutes.

I wish that was the case. If they're going to rest, play the god damn trap then.

Please do not tell me that even ONE of those goals against was scored due to the Isles not being able to capitalize on an easy opportunity to get the puck out of the zone???

Ouch.. The first period I was , the second period I knew eventually it would be , but I didn't think it would be , losing going into the third. I hate that towards the end of EVERY game I am thinking "well, let's hope for the POINT now".. It's just not healthy for me. I'm running out of smokes and blue moons.

What do you think C? Like I said, it's like a recurring nightmare each 2nd period. But instead of the Dmen just being up at the front of the class in their underwear, they just can't clear the bloody zone!

Well, this is a blown lead this team may not recover from.

I wonder if we're at the point now where Gordon wouldn't be better off just telling the guys to do NOTHING but knock the puck out of the zone/commit icing the entire second period of a road game???

Sidenote:

Bridgeport just allowed about the stupidest goal against I have ever seen. Pure squirts stuff. Started with an uncalled for no-look pass and ended in patheticism....

Uggg

And the Panthers take a two goal lead...

Gervais needs to sit with Schremp for Monday's game.

Hes regressed immensely in the last few games.

And who do they put in?

We only have 6 Dmen and well, if you ask me, no-one on the farm is currently ready to even fill in .... although a game or two for MacDonald might not be too bad.

Nice charge to the rebound by JT.

4-3 with 10:45 to go.
