I blame Ian White. Since shaving his moustache Leafs are pointless.

Gunnarsson might actually have been our best defender this game.

Wow. I have no words. A game that we honestly should have... could have won thru 2, we lose b/c Toskala is the only goaltender in the league who is paid to NOT stop pucks. I'm befuddled and pretty p-oed actually. This was a winnable game. They we're playing great. Then Vesa showed up.

A real let down.

It was actually Gustavsson who let the majority of the goals in. Regardless, your post is dumb.

Oh Yes lets blame Toskala. How about blaming the pylons in front of him or the boneheads who take stupid penalties in critical situations ( Wallin). Or idiots who start scraps when your team is about to score ( Beauchemin). How about those pinch ins for odd man rushes too? All around bad effort. I will wait for changes.

Positives:
-Gunnarsson looks like an NHL defender
-Toskala gave up less goals than Monster
-PP's okay
-Won the fights
-Dominated the 2nd period

Negatives:
-Ridiculously awful start
-Play well after you **** the bed every game
-Monster was horrible
-Beauchemin was horrible (-4)
-Kippersoff
-Stupid penalty
-Letting Iginla speed in off the boards 8 times and allowing him to take a shot far corner each time
-Turnovers (though not as bad as yesterday .. not saying much)

What did Donald Cherry say about Wallin? Other than that he's a visor wearing Euro?

A team as talentless as the Leafs really have no excuse for coming out so flat. Who cares if they turn it on later and almost catch up? They never do and they put too many useless shots on net. Watching them struggle to make passes in front of the net is truly depressing, I think it's time to bring up some of those kids and see what they can do.

Then Vesa showed up? What ****ing game were you watching is what I'd like to know.

Doesn't matter who's in net at this point, the team sucks period. Our D sucks, and we can't score. This team is a joke, blow it up before we get embarrased and become the laughing stock of the entire league.

Bad goaltending...bad, talentless players in front of our netminders -- one of them always let's the team down. That's what it all comes down to.

The team has no confidence, and a major shakeup is way overdue. Either get rid of Wilson, or bring up some of the kids already.

Ok, hows about on the 6th shot he faced... 6th... the first one of the 3rd, with him waddling backwards out of position like he was the Aflac duck, he gets scored on. Absolutely, Monster dropped the ball. But WE HAD THIS GAME... and then Toskala doesn't make a clutch save WHEN WE NEEDED IT.

I completely agree that it was Monster's debacle, and the BONEHEAD turn overs, but lets call a spade a spade: He needed to make the save on the 4th goal. He NEEDED to. The 5th was traffic and I'm not gonna kill him for it. But I will for the 4th.

We we're in it... until that goal. Toskala's sole purpose on-ice: Stop goals. He failed. We lost. Case closed.

I agree with the commentators when they said that Gunnarson earned more games, and I agree with Cherry that Wallin is due to be replaced.

Having said that, I know that Burke is trying to establish a strong, confident farm system and also trying to get value out of some of these current 'NHLers'.

I just hope I have the patience to put up with 3 more months of this "Showcasing half the team" strategy that seems never-ending in Leaf land.

Top 6. Wallin is terrible. Just does not cut it.

I want Wilson fired but it wont happen. Burke wont fire his boy Wilson especially with the Olympics coming up.

On second thought who would replace him. NVM

Send down Wallin, bring up Bozak, demote Johnny Malkin to 4th line center.

Seriously?
You're blaming Toskala for this loss?
