ZZBop
Rolston Zubes Elias
IK4 Sesito Clarkson
PL3 Pelley Peters

White & Motts
Green & Sal
Corrente & Fraser

Actually...I like that group for tonight!!!
IK4??

Pikkarainen is not a scrapper at all. It's one thing to be a "scrapper" in Finland, but it's totally different being one in the NHL.

I don't know why some people are so hung up on the Flyers' lineup. Yeah, they have a group of fighters, but it they want to run around and be undisciplined then let them, we'll get power plays out of it.

We have enough guys who can fight anyway. This Devils team is very tough, but that doesn't mean they have to fight just because the opponent is Philadelphia.

The name you mentioned says it all really.

Vs is almost an automatic Devils loss. It's getting bizarre at this point.

Versus is horrendous. It's like the Wayne's World of hockey in terms of production capabilities. IMO, it's embarrassing. ESPN and the NHL should just should just kiss and make up, because it's obvious they both need each other desperately.

I can imagine Wayne and Garth, in suits, talking about hockey in the VS studio.

"Now Garth, let's talk about the chick sat in front of those dressed up Devils fans in Tampa."

Spike TV needs to slide in and pick up the Versus contract. Then we'd see some gratuitous T&A during games.

I never ever make game predictions, but today I feel will be the Breakout game for Patrick Elias.

Don't know why just a hunch.

It helps that he is a Flyer killer.

In 60 career games against the Flyers he has 24 goals, 33 assists and is a +18. The only team he has more goals against are the Islanders.

That article was written by an AP writer. The same exact story is probably running in papers all over the country.

I looked on NHL schedules (settings: Devils / Season / on Versus) and I found that in the three years that the Devils have been on Versus, they have a record of 4W-11L (of which 2 wins were in OT, didn't bother counting losses in the shootout or OT)

4W/15games = 26.67% wins of games played. Over the same three years, the Devils have won 146 of the 246 games they've played or 59.35%

I certainly hope the team isn't this fatalistic about playing on Vs. You all seem to have assumed we'll lose already. If the team plays the game we've seen them be capable of, we will win.

Well, now is as a good as any to start to turn that around.

i predict a lot of fights tonight. The season is rolling, and Philly is probably pissed that we're higher in the standings. Should be a good one.

Langenbrunner, Greene, Salvador, and Clarkson all sat out of practise yesterday, but Lemaire expects them all to play tonight.

Even though our record sucks on VS it is the only time I get to watch the Devils in High Def so I am looking forward to that.

I'm jumping on Jim's bandwagon and calling this Elias's breakout game as well.
