PreGame Quotes
St. Louis:
Quote:
"We played our best 60 minutes as a team in a long time," St. Louis said. "I think everybody backed each other whenever it got physical and we played together as a whole in every facet."
Smith:
Quote:
"I think this was the best 60-minute hockey game we played all season," winning goaltender Mike Smith said. "That's what we have to do every game. If we play like that, we'll win a lot of games."
Stamkos:
Quote:
"We just outworked them, outplayed them in their end," Stamkos said. "Right from the get-go, you could tell we had definitely one of our better games of the year."
Tocchet:
Quote:
"Smitty's played well for us," Lightning coach Rick Tocchet said. "He's really squaring the puck, and when he's quiet, he's really hard to get around."

LOL, Z.

Come on boys, another 60 minutes to dominate here. Been a while since i've seen good hockey like that out of this team.

Pretty incredible Malone is a +10 so far. Everytime hes on the ice, something happens. Love it.

ALL HAIL LORD DOWNIE!

Watch us come out flat and lollygag our way through the game thinking the win will just be handed to us. Watch.

They have to come out just like they did last night. We need to get a decent long winning streak going.

On a sidenote, what is wtog? Is that cw44?

But it was a very true statement. No sense getting on the bandwagon yet. They still have a long way to go for that. String 5 or 6 games like last night together and I might start to believe but one game means jack **** to me and I wouldn't be at all surprised if you saw the team that lost to the two worst teams in the conference within the last week tonight and not the one that kicked ass last night. Then they'll blame it on the flight after the game. As far as I'm concerned they still suck and other than a few players have shown me nothing yet. And I fail to see the huge deal that Hedman is. He doesn't hit anyone, has a weak stick at at times seems completely lost to me. Flashes of brilliance at times for sure, but not deserving of all the hype. Mez should be getting that. He has been a ****ing monster lately.

While Smittys been good the last games I'm not sure back-to-back games like these are good for anyone

Auld starting means this game had better be 2 points for us. No excuses.. Go out and win.

I have to agree, our chances to win this should be at least 65% with A.A. starting. Let's follow last night's game up with another good performance!

As long as we don't lose it early on, that's all that matters.
